Bad shot...pretty irrelevant, but that wasn't much of anything. Pull up or get to the rim. I hoped they'd play well tonight...not many guys really brought their A game tonight.

That game felt like we should have lost by 30. I don't know how we kept it close, because so many Sixers looked horrible out there tonight.

That's the way we felt last night. Good games. I envy Philly's energy and intensity.

No intensity until the fourth quarter will get us blown out against actual playoff teams. If we were playing any playoff team other than Atlanta we would have lost by 20+. Hopefully the take away a lesson from this game.

The Hawks have become a pretty good team with Bibby. They are like 9-3 in their last 12. They also wanted it more than us tonight.

Let's not go crazy here. Back-back's are tough. They just clinched the playoffs.

I didn't expect a win here. If they play poorly the rest of the way, then I'd be disappointed, but they've displayed character all season, so I would expect them to bounce back. It's frustrating, but realize they are young, they've exceeded anyone's expectations, and it's a tough game against a team still fighting for the playoffs...let's see how their effort is against the Pistons.

I envy Atl young talent. They should be out of their perennial lottery position for the foreseeable future.

I know it's way late in the season to change the starting lineup. There's no way Mo should do that, but why can't Willie Green simple be a token starter? Why does he have to play 20 minutes? That's 5 to 10 minutes too long in my opinion.

How in the world does WG get 11 shot attempts and SammyD only 3?

Thadd was fine off the bench, why did Mo choose to start him a few games ago?

If anyone off the bench should have become a starter it should have been Lou Will for Willie Green. Then Kevin Ollie could play small minutes as a backup guard and Willie Green out of the rotation.

If Carney had any defense he'd be the obvious choice to start, but unfortunately he doesn't.

Sam had a horrible game. No excuse to get outrebounded by guys 4 inches smaller than you. I don't care high they jump. That is just bad technique and lack of focus.

Cuz Sam was in foul trouble all night long.

It all depends on matchups on opposing PFs. If the opposing PF is rather strong on the post, Reggie Evans would start, but if the PF was quicker/more athletic, Thad will usually get the nod.

If anyone off the bench should have become a starter it should have been Lou Will for Willie Green. Then Kevin Ollie could play small minutes as a backup guard and Willie Green out of the rotation.

I'd love for that to happen, but putting Lou out there for extended minutes might screw up the backcourt defense, as he's only 6'1"/6'2" and isn't a terrific defender. And I think that his role as a 4th qtr man has worked fine enough for the Sixers.

No reason to worry too much:

I am a bit worried. This team was as hot as anyone for 7 weeks, and now we have gone 2-3 over the last week.

I realize we had to cool off eventually, but I was hoping we would enter the playoffs riding high. I guess they have 5 games to get it going again.

They at least still control their own destiny with the #5 seed.

You can tell in the first 3 minutes of the game if Green will play well or not. I don't understand why Cheeks stays with him. If he misses his first few shots just put Carney in if we need D or Lou if we need O.

Atlanta looked like they wanted it more than us tonight, which worries me a little. We have no room for error if we want the 5 seed. Detroit is coming to town Wednesday and they will bring their A game for sure after we beat them last time. They will want to make a statement that we can't compete with them if we meet in the playoffs.

Wasn't Green hurt last time when we beat Detroit.

The Sixers match up so much better with them with Dala at SG and Thad at SF.

WG really is too short to even bother Rip, and would have no shot if he had to switch onto Prince. Its like back in trhe playoff series when KK couldn't guard any one of the Pistons starters and we were constantly having to cover up defensively.

I would think Mo realizes this, and would severely cut down Green's minutes if things aren't going well. Unfortunately, that suggests a slow start, and thgis team really needs a good start to get back their confidence.
