All of those other teams will have to go the sign and trade route (also likely the Sixers 11M isn't close enough to get to the 13M 1st year max needed without a trade.)

Hawks have been going on record many times they will match any offer for Josh Smith and Josh Childress. If they do decided to move Smith. I hope it is for Andris Biedrins.

Right now it is tough to say which direction the Hawks are heading in. With the way Bibby is playing. Hawks have to seriously look at re-signing him. Law is nowhere near ready to lead this team. We will likely have a new GM and HC this offseason. The new HC could be Larry Brown. I just hope ownership doesn't give him any other powers beside HC though.

Only players I can truly say are untouchable are Joe Johnson,Al Horford, and to a certain degree Mike Bibby. Beyond that anyone else on this team can be traded. As someone did say. Hawks didn't spend all this time developing these players just let another team reap the rewards. I expect the Hawks to get a player or players back in return if anyone is moved.

I like the way you think, just for the wrong team.

Josh Smith isnt our savoir, but he is an exciting player and would fit into our style of play. He isnt a pure 4, but Thad is only 19, people keep forgetting that he might be our PF of the future (men can keep growing till 25. That said, I think he will definitely shoot up an inch or 2) If so, we are ALL set.

Iggy, I like your thinking. Maybe Lou will grow another two inches too!

LOL! I love that you have "taller version of Thad" listed as our future PF. God that makes my feet ticklish.

Hah. Unfortunately, in a recent interview Thad talked about being a SF and not a PF because, "Unfortunately I'm not going to grow any taller"- or something to that effect.

I guess our dreams of him following David Robinson's late growth spurt are lost.

I think that's for the best.

He could be a good starting PF, but he's going to be physically dominant at SF against the average 6-7 guy.

LoL, just because Thad thinks he is done growing, that means he is? I guess we can dictate how much we grow now.

The whole commotion about Thad growing was based around his comment earlier this year that he expected to grow another two inches because its common in his family to keep growing into their early 20's.

Its been sort of a running joke around here all year.

Josh Smith had 13 boards last night. No one else on the other team had more than 9. Ya, Josh Smith gets out rebounded by the other team every night. In the his last ten games he hasnt been out rebounded by anyone on the other team 5 times. I see that you should do some research before you start running at the mouth.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.
