I'm referring to last season. I think he played around 70 games. I watched most of their games the last month or two and the playoffs. Nene was a beast off the pick and roll, had above average post moves (had a very good go-to move), and he's a very good defender. Just my personal opinion, but I would take a healthy Nene over a healthy Martin or Camby.

I have always been a big Nene supporter and I would not be opposed to dealing for him, but it would have to be a deal where we sent Evans back to Denver. That would send them half of Nene's contract over the next 3 years and make it less of a cap risk for us.

Nene is still relatively young (25) and has proven he can be an impact player in the league. Yes, he hasn't been able to maintain it for long stretches due to injuries, but many of those injuries have been freak things. He would also give us a big who can rotate to the C spot during games and spell Sam when we run with the small lineups.

Would Denver do Nene for Evans and cap space? I kinda doubt it. I thnk they will try to move Kenyon before Nene. In any deal with us, I'm sure they will be trying to get Miller back.
