Health ? :)

I'm a huge CB fan. But I also like Igi. Dude has talent.

LOL true, that's ONE thing Iggz has on Butler. But the other intangibles Westbrook named...not buying it.

the sixers were playing good most of the game
i dont know what happen in he fourth quarter , they just stop playing
Ander Miller looks very tired in the last quarter , when he is not able to play at his best the sixers have no shot
now we have to face detroit , i hate looking at tayshon prince , i hated him since that shot over Mckie

Then hopefully they can get back to playing smart team ball.

Reading your comments in this game thread were almost as entertaining as watching the game....

You'll played a short line up lots of mins. With CB out, EJ was forced to play a longer line up and we have GA who got hot at just the right time which made you'll have to play less aggessive. Anyway. It was a great game.

Here. I have one for you'll. Tell me if I'm nuts.

I have you vs DET with you'll taking them. Do you'll think you can do it?

Not if we finish the 4th quarters the way we played tonight....

As much as I love this Sixers team... What happened is they got tight an missed all of their shots.

That is a gentle way of saying the truth....

THEY CHOKED.

Think of the last few weeks. They play well when their back is against the wall- tonight they came out loose, hitting shots and getting out on the break.

Then the Sixers entered the 4th with a lead- and realized the pressure was back on them... and they started shooting and missing jumpers. The settled for jumpers even though they had the Wiz in the bonus.

The missed all of their shots to start the 4th because they were a young team that finally realized that the pressure was on them to hold the lead- and they knuckled under the pressure.

Its easy to play carefree, uptempo basketball when people have clamed your season is over. You go on a run and everything seems easy. Then, all of the sudden, last week they were the 5th seed and the team to beat. Now all of the sudden they started thinking about the pressure, tried to do too much with jumpers- and have gone from the hottest team to a swoon as soon as they started to feel the pressure.

I honestly don't know if this type of poor performance this past week under pressure can some way help them in the future.

The only way I can see for them to turn this around is for Mo to convince them that people have now counted them out. Then maybe they can forget the pressure (since people expect them to lose) and regain their confidence.

Dude.......were not the better team......

I have to disagree. They were without Butler, and Arenas played limited minutes off his injury. They should have jumped all over them. If we are being killed by Stephenson we can't claim they were sending out a more talent squad.

What beat us was they had a superstar who is used to playing in tight games- and has no conscience or fear.

Coming out 1-11 from the field to start the 4th shows the Sixers were exposed for lacking star power. Iguodala tried to step up, but everyone was too tight- instead of attacking they were scared, relying on jumpers .

Honestly- once we had the Wiz in the bonus with 9 minutes left- don't you think Lou could have blown by Roger Mason and gotten to the line on nearly every posession? The Sixers saw a soft zone, and each player deferred from taking on themselves to attck it- thinking they could get by with jumpers.

I realize I am being harsh on the team- and I love all that they did this year. Facing a lost season with no expectations they shocked the world. Unfortunately0- once they got to that 5th seed 2 weeks ago they realized now the pressure was on them to keep up their great play- and the pressure has gotten to them.

Maybe they use this somehow to turn it around- or maybe they will be more confident next year?

Looking longer term- it was good to see Young continue to expand on his game. Add another player at PF, and this team will soon be a deep and talented team- and they won't be so reliant on creating turnovers and break opportunities.

How did we only score 9 points in the fourth against a team that historically (outside of Butler) plays shotty defense.

Pathetic, totally deserve this loss and the post-season devastation we're going to receive from Detroit.

This is how you lose a game

We lost the tray's battle 36 points to 21. We lost on the offensive boards 18-10. We lost the bench battle 38-16. Young scores 4 points in the 2nd half. In fact, Young did not score points in the 4th quarter. Miller scores 2 points in the 2nd half. Carney scores 2 points for the game and Lou Williams scores 3 points in the 2nd half and goes -24 in the plus minus category for the game. The Wizards were over the foul limit with 8 minutes left in the 4th quarter, but the 76ers scored 3 points in the last 8 minutes of the 4th quarter. They let Arenas score 12 points in the 4th quarter.

The Wizards played without Butler, but they did not even miss him. How many times this season have we seen the 3 point shot kill us. We let Stephenson kill us. The 76ers played like a team fading off in the sunset.

If it wasn't for the fact that we are already in the playoffs we look like we are tanking. Mo has a terrible rotation pattern. When we are up by 10 or 15 in the first quarter he puts the whole bench in. Maybe he just wants to play Boston first.

What ever happened to the days when good players could play 40 minutes or more?
