In your scenario...take Thabeet. They'll need all the interior defense they can get if Josh Smith is the PF.

I'd be OK with Smith if he were more consistent in his effort. He's had huge games, but appears to be a dog in others. If the current Sixers mindset is contagious, I'd be more willing to roll the dice on him, but he doesn't seem to be a consistent effort player which bothers me.

Josh Smith could become a cancer if he expects to be the franchise player taking all the shots and not playing within our team philosophy . I'd prefer looking for hungrier players trying to make it . The Jamario moons, the reggie Evans of the league , We don;t need a fringe all star player.

I could care less about George or Amundson.

They need a low post PF, not a jump shot shooting PF, they can do better than Charlie V.

Not a big fan of Villanueva. At all.

How would you feel about getting Villanueva so long as we draft Speights at 16, assuming he's available? Everything I've read about Speights says that he's a low-post banger and a 6'10, he can play both the 4 and 5. This guy sounds tailor made to fill the deficiencies we have at PF.

I know a guy who played against Speights last summer in a few things and he said that he'll be the 2nd best player to come out of Florida behind Horford (obviously saying he'll be a better pro than Brewer and Noah).

I'm intrigued by him. Not really sure why you need Villanueva and him though.
