Going on the premise that the draft pick is a backup/developmental prospect, and the FA is the starting PF, I love adding the new and improved KK to this roster.

Koufos is softer than butter on a Vegas corner at high noon. He makes Bargnani look like Reggie Evans....;)
Don't worry, that builds character and you can never have too much character...

Speights, Arthur, Mcgee, Ibaka and Lopez.

I'm hoping for Speights and Arthur though.

If we get either one I'll be happy.

I like CDR as a great slasher, but it doesn't address a need. I like Rush - he has nice size for guard, and he can really shoot and we need that badly.

http://www.nbadraft.net thinks we will select Donte Greene - i have seen him play.

Looks like we don't have a 2nd rd pick this year.

Agreed, but I doubt either would be an impact player for a couple of years (by then Thad will be, what, 21?)

Sounds like Thabeet is leaning towards going back to UConn.

From the first time I saw him play last year, I've been enamored with Darrell Arthur and feel he would be the perfect fit for this team...

What about Marreese Speights? This kid sounds tailor-made to fill our weakness at the 4 - and at 6'10, he's surely not undersized to play the 4. Many have compared him to Al Jefferson. I haven't seen him in action but based on what I've read about him, he really does seem like the missing piece. This is the kind of player we can throw up against the heavier 4 and 5's in this league like Howard and Bynum - and Maxiell; the kind of PF that won't be dislodged under the rim. He sounds like the anti-Sam, hence, the perfect compliment to Sam's length and lack of a post game. Anyone seen him play?

I'm on board with Speights and Arthur. Wouldn't be adverse to Augustin either.

I don't want McGee, Thabeet, Hibbert, or Koufos or any of those stiffs.

I will be completely demoralized if this sixers team drafts Arthur. Questionable work ethic, low motor on the court, black hole on offense who's never seen a shot he didn't like? Pass. He's got a pro body but, on an otherwise delightful-to-watch Kansas team, he stuck out like a sore thumb.

I'd much rather see them go after BPGA- I hope a number of the fence-sitters end up opting into the draft. Would be nice luxury to groom a replacement for Miller for a few years in a backup role.
