After giving it some thought, I think that Biedrins wouldn't be a bad fit next to Sam, and here's why. From the games that I saw him play, he's a good finisher at the rim (much better than Sam) and doesn't bobble a rebound. Even though his jumper & FT% stinks, I didn't think he was meant to be that type of player. In addition, he works the pick-and-roll pretty well, which our team sorely lacks in our offensive arsenal.

If Eddie can't pull off a Brand or Okafor deal, I wouldn't mind if there was a S&T involved for Biedrins.

Biedrins would a very nice pickup. He is a quick footed, athletic, good rebounding, good defensive, hustle type of player. I am not sure that the Warriors would trade him to us though. He is very, very valuable to that team.

I can't imagine them trading him, but I'd love to have Biedrins. The best part is that he's 22 and hasn't reached his potential yet.

I saw Okafor sleepwalking through a number of games this year. I have never seen Biedrins sleepwalking during a game. Maybe Okafor is pissed playing in Charlotte, since they have 3 players who never saw a shot they did not like.

Biedrins is great on the pick and roll. He also sets good picks for their guards. Thw Warriors will not let him go.

^^^^

Yeah, my hopes aren't high on getting him either; it was just an interesting speculation.

He's an RFA as well...they wouldn't need to trade for him...still no guaruntee they get him.

Elton Brand is really the guy I want, but if the Clippers resign him, we have to go another way. That is why we need to maximize the 2008 draft, so we do not depend on free agency in 2008.
