No way.
Btw, an mvp is someone who excells on both ends of the floor. CP3 has to learn that.

CP3 led the league in steals.

Also, I'd like to note that the Lakers were at the top of the Western conference (25-11) when Andrew Bynum went down. This is before they acquired Pau Gasol.

Which is why Nash won it 2 years in a row right? Cuz he excelled on BOTH ends?

Nash didn't deserve it either, it was Bryant or Duncan than.

But sometimes, emotions take the upper hand in these MVP-votings (remember AI for mvp, while he was far from being an mvp that season)

Steals aren't a good statistic to measure defensive impact. It just measures how much a player gambles on D.

IMO:

Best Player in the league: KOBE

MVP: Chris Paul

I really can't see the reason why Kobe deserves the MVP more than CP3 does.

Chris Paul is definitely more VALUABLE to his team than Kobe with the Lakers. Without Paul, Hornets won't be a play-off team. But without Kobe, he still has an elite team lead by Bynum, Gasol and Odom.

ANd if you're talking about performance, Chris Paul did step it up this year. He's arguably a top 3 candidate for MIP.

BTW, Chris Paul is a very good defensive player. Ask Eva Longaria's husband. :D
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Chris Paul led a team that missed the playoffs, with virtually NO changes. Bare Julian Wright's drafting, to the 2nd seed. The Lakers acquired Pao Gasol. You can point to the Lakers's (25-11), but as you said that was untill Bynum went down. If you think Kobe+Shooters keeps that top seed. I need to remind you that the Lakers were that team for 3 years. The first being the lottery to get Bynum, 2 years after that they were 7th seeds.

CP3 transformed that team in 3 years, getting better every year. Kobe needed Pao. CP3 has had a HELL of a year this year. Kobe never got higher then 3rd on the MVP Ballot. What made this year different? Was it the fact that the Lakers are a top seed? CP3'S Hornets are only a game behind I believe.

CP3>>>>>Kobe.

No, he's not very good, he's mediocre.

Tony Parker is a guard who scores 75% of his points in the paint. Good interior defense is the key to a bad playing TP, not the D from Paul.

Chris Paul played Jason Kidd and Tony Parker, and he's 6-1. Nuff said.

you keep that **** to yourself. that was the definition of an MVP season. he led a bunch of scrubs to the finals while having a multitude of injuries. if anyone was deserving of being MVP for one season it was Iverson in 01.
