Guys like Thad and Amir rarely get traded because they not established enough to bring back a proven great player, but have too much potential to risk giving them up.
What did Toronto get back when they were forced to sign and trade TMac? He went from 16 pts for the Raps to 33 pts the next year with Orlando.
I'm not saying either Amir or Thad will be a superstar, but there's no way their team will get back an equally promising prospect in a trade.
Would Amir Johnson Be An Option?

Im sorry but i dont see the big deall in Amir Johnson...
i think Jason Smith is just as good an option for us in terms of potential
.All ive ever seen Amir do in limited action is dunk the ball a few times...ive never seen ANY flashes of post presence/game or a mid range game and hes a bit undersized.
i wouldnt mind him but only if the price was cheap. If i wanted an undersized 4 thats athletic and can dunk id take Hakim Warrick over him any day of the week.

tk76 Biendrens IS NOT the defensive version of Monta Ellis. Monta Ellis dominates basketball games with offensive efficiency. Biendrens GETS DOMINATED...Big difference. I have seen Don Nelson bench Biendrens several times. I didn't know till VERY LATE that Biendrens was a double double type player that shot over .600%. This is because Don Nelson would seemingly always bench him when they played nationally televised games, which seemingly were games against teams that had legitimate post players. So I thought that Biendrens was just some absolute garbage bum that Nellie was using as filler. Don Nelson played him less than 30 minutes per game because HE CAN'T COMPETE AGAINST THE ELITE! Biendrens is a gimmick player. He's a nice fantasy basketball player but that's about it. He may statistically be a very good rebounder but the other teams forward//center always rebounds well against him. The other teams frontcourt superstar has great games against him. He's a garbage player that Nelson's system gave respectable statistics. He played center, but he's not one. He's a PF with no jump shot who is dependent upon getting offense off of guard penetration and dish and put backs. He doesn't block shots and manned the center of the defense. What is there to like about this player from what he does on the basketball court potential for the Sixers? We need a PF that can create something for himself not get garbage points.
