Thanks for the breakdown on Ajinca.

My main reservation is that his frame precludes him from ever having the type of low center of gravity to effectively block people out (he lacks the wider hips of a guy like Yao, Mutumbo or even Sam.) Someone shorter and more explosive like Camby has succeeded with a beanpole frame- but Ajinca will never have Camby's quickness to the ball.

I think Ajinca could develop into a nice weapon if he is paired with the right quick, widebodied PF (maybe a Boozer type?)

Against the quicker PF'S in the league, the pick and roll would be a deadly weapon. But that aside, having two 7 footers like that in the paint defensively, along with Andre Iguodala and Thaddeus Young, two big swingmen. Hey, that's close to a Pistons Mold :)

Just like Sene for the Sonics. He sucked then and he sucks now.

Never said it was, I was talking about in relation to your yearly euros.

Ive officially tossed all my previous thoughts out the window and will be hoping for another unexpected selection tomorrow on draft night... with the 16th pick in the 2008 NBA draft, the Philadelphia 76ers select...JJ Hickson ,PF NC State.

also from all the interviews ive seen of him...he seems like a smart, classy kid as well.something the sixers def take into account. We havent heard much but we didnt with Thad last year either...hopefully its all a smokescreen and Hickson is our guy 2morro.

In order
1) Ajinca (He is not Sene. He is a true 7 footer with a rare combination of skill, athleticsm and work ethic.
2) Speights (bruiser- am scared of his work ethic.)
3) trade down for Ibaka (love his size and athleticism)
4) Jordan (should have been better in college. should have showed something...anything!!! this scares me)
5) R. Lopez (will be a solid back up for 10 years. nothing more. I like to gamble instead)
6) Hickson (read that he is not a team player and that his teamates hated playing with him. )
7) Arthur (not a bruiser. does not have Jamison offensive game. If we want to play small ball for part of a game, we can put Thad back over there. There is no need for him and he is not good enough to be BPA.)
8) Koufos (every game that I saw him in, he was a non factor. Got pushed around real easy.)

I would love to move up to 5 or so and get Love. I think that he will be a much better pro than most realize.

I was afraid someone would ask me that....
I do not remember which site it was in my surfing the net....
I do read Draft Express daily, could it have been there??

I do promise that I did not make it up though....but I cannot promise that whomever I read it from didn't make it up. :)

Somebody help me out here. Anyone see this and remember where?
