Um, do I have this right? A 139 reply thread on a Sixer board. I'm going to assume that this thread got hijacked by Raptor posters. I don't think I've ever seen that here, especially in such a short time. On the Raptor board maybe. Interesting.

If I can put my two cents here, being a Raptor fan and a Sixer fan (From Toronto, working in Philadelphia for past year), I have to say that the Sixers are a lot less annoying to watch than the Raps were last year. The Sixers actually play solid defense, hustle and penetrate. The Raps don't do any of these things, except Bosh. The Raps had a much more talented team last year than the Sixers but now, with the Brand signing by the Sixers and the O'Neal acquisition by the Raps, I think the Sixers are a better team. The Raps don't have the depth anymore (especially at the SF/SG positions), their much vaunted 'Forderon", have a regressing #1 pick and got a gimpy center. The Sixers, on the other hand, addressed their weakness with Brand (PF now is Brand/Evans and Speights vs last year's Evans/Smith). The only things lacking on the Sixers is 3 pt shooting, which the Sixers can probably pick up easier now that they are a contender (Eddie House, anyone?).

Sixers have improved this year and will continue to do so with a very solid, up and coming young nucleus (Iggy, Williams, Young, Smith) and a solid veteran nucleus (Miller, Brand, Evans). The Raptors (with all appologies to the Raptor posters that have taken over this thread), are heading south with major question marks (Bosh's and O'Neal's knees, Bargnani's continued de-evolution into Skita, limited cap space to re-sign Moon next year).
