He was terrible last year in college, honestly the most over hyped player i ever saw. Houston should compete if healthy.

We need a shooter in our starting lineup. Evans nor Green will ever get traded untill this season is over, and/or someone needs a rebounding big(Evans). So who do you trade? The 33 yr old PG. Andre Miller's been great for us, but seriously we're treating him like he's Allen Iverson. He's not. He's a solid PG that may possibly be replaced if Lou Williams emerges in camp.

Yes, Battier probably won't start for us and I should have looked at the 3pt percentages. But I've assumed that he's a sharpshootie for our bench and another backup at the G/F Position.

Miller is the cog to this wheel. The sooner you realize this, the quicker you'll stop sounding stupid.

A PG presence like his is 10x more important than a shooter is to this team.

Any PG that can pass, shoot and limit his turnovers will be a cog to this wheel.

Miller is not Allen Iverson, he is not a game changer. He is simply a good PG.

With Bobby Jackson traded, Hou is now missing a backup piece at PG. Unless they feel Steve Francis can actually contribute. I would love to work a Miller for Battier+filler swap. Obviously as has been pointed out, Hou may not have much interest in trading for Iguodala as Ron Artest is the superior basketball player.

Bobby Jackson sucks.

Brooks, Barry and Head, who also sucks, will play back-up.

AI was not a game-changer as a PG. He was as a 2 guard.

and no any PG who can shoot and pass will not be a cog to this wheel.

1) I didn't reference Iverson as a game changing point. I referenced to him as a game changer period, 2) Okay, any PG that has the ability to get the ball in people's hands. Is that better for you?

Andre Miller is valued WAY TOO HIGHLY. He is what he is. A commodity that I look to trade during this yr's deadline.

He isn't valued way too highly. You are undervaluing him.

He is a 33 year old PG, WE SHOULD look to move him. He's done great for the team, now is his time to go according to the plan.

Miller was arguably the second best point guard in the East (after Chauncey) for the second half of last season. You don't trade a PG like that for a backup wing just because we're deficient on shooters.

Newsflash: It's the east.

Lou Williams may surpass this man in camp. We need a 3pt shooting starter.

While Lou has shown alot of promise, his skill set is completely different from Miller. Lou is a scorer, Andre is a floor general. And with the aquisition of Brand who's to say that the team wants to trade Miller?

They will. There will be teams like Memphis, wanting to get under the cap and willing to give overpaid stars.

Yao: Hopefully, [Artest isn't] fighting anymore and going after a guy in the stands.

Artest: If you go back to the brawl, that's a culture issue right there. Somebody was disrespecting me, so he's got to understand where I'm coming from. People that know me know that Ron Artest never changed.

That comment alone has got to make David Stern's head explode. What I'm taking from this is is that if Ron Artest had to re-do the brawl all over... he would.

I think Yao made an ignorant comment too. It's 2004, not 2008. And obviously, Ron Artest has kept his head on his shoulders. And, I would too. TGP. Think about it, someone is throwing a cup of beer on MY face? **** that, your going down.

You're 16, right? That's an appropriate response for someone learning geometry and not for a 28 year old man who is being paid $8MIL to play basketball in hostile arenas across the country.

It's a matter of pride and principal. I refuse to have someone do that to me. To accept something like that is like declaring myself worthless. I think that's how Artest feels.

If I get paid 100K a game to play basketball, they can put me in the dunking booth and throw pies in my face at the end of each game. Thank you, may I have another?

Part of what comes with being an NBA player is representing the franchise and city more than just "representing." Its not a culture thing, its a mentally insane thing. Artest is an embarrassment to whatever "culture" he is trying to hold himself up as. Iverson represents his backround and brings some credit to it. Artest just uses it as a crutch and get out of jail free card.

As a Rockets fan I think Artest will either start at the 4 or come off the bench and be 6th man kinda like Ginobli besides it will give are second unit somebody to create shots for.

I believe this is a direct quote from Jesus, Gospel of John?

This caused the entire world to think Artest is a crazy nutjob, but hey, at least he showed some pathetic no name drunk who's boss!
