not sure how you set your avatar, but in photoshop, i "save for web" and then change the image size to 80 pixels on the longest dimension. Then "optimize to file size" = 48kb.

Crop a higher resolution pic, and then bring it down to 80x80 so it doesn't look distorted...

It looks better now, even though I couldn't get a higher resolution...

I'll have the new one up in a minute...

kanga may be my new favorite poster on this board. Besides the insane photoshop skills that he has, he brought up that Tim Duncan story which is just mindblowing. Based on his hobbies (sword and knife collecting, Dungeons & Dragons, fantasy videogames & paintball), I'm pretty sure that despite making hundreds of millions of dollars, he still lives in his Mom's basement.

I just cropped your original...

Changed the image size to 80x102 or something (it does an auto resize so it doesn't get distorted)

Then uploaded it...

The distortion that occurs on realgm when it switches to 80x80 is minimal, but you get a more closeup view of Sammy's face...

I think maybe some brilliant geek has found a way to inhabit Duncan's body. He only lets the real Timmy out to play basketball, so that he can earn his 20M/yr to spend on vintage Dungeon Master's guides.



Maybe I can sell him the one that probably is sitting in my parents basement... no that isn't my "apartment"

Well... the website has been updated to now show the old logo and colors. We know that the team will wear the 82-83 throwbacks more than 10 times this upcoming season and so I think it's on us as fans to make sure the Sixers FO knows that we want them to stay beyond this season.

Now all we need is to get them to switch to the Ben Franklin mascot. How can anyone argue with "Mr. Electricity". he comes paragliding down in his tricked out kite ala Croche, and then starts shoots lightning bolts from his fingers like in Star Wars.
