Whatever. Your not worth my time. Back to the topic. Smith wasn't going to play a great role here but now with him gone Evans and Spieghts are going to get alot more minutes. Hopefully we just bring in 2 vet bigs for the min.
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.

This injury is a pretty big blow, IMO.

Sixers have limited outside shooting ability.

And Smith's ability to step outside and knock it down could stretch the D and both present and prevent matchup problems... He gave us another look.... As Eddie always said, "a rotation player."

Usually, maybe one or two players tears something in preseason and goes down for the season... Last year, it was POR... Much bigger deal.... But this year, the Sixers got spiked... Definitely unlucky. Not dream-shaterring, by an stretch.

And at the very least, one of our assets just lost his value.... Moving forward, Smith could've been used as a nice chip, maybe at the trade deadline.... Not anymore. All around, it's a bummer. Def not good news, any way you cut it.

With all do respect, I am not the one who started with senseless personal insults, but that's just my 10 cents on that one.

As for Smith, we have to replace him and it's a two fold problem because we have to carry him on IR and now probably need two players to replace what he gave us because we need both a back up center for Daly and a sweet shooting big man off the bench.

Perhaps there is a trade in there somewhere to procure more depth for us, but it's tough to move anyone other than Miller and I'm not so sure there is much of a market out there for him.
