The 76ers road record in 2008-2009?

I am going with 20 road wins. I have to throw in Iggy's decision making, Big Sam's hands and Mo Joe's small ball. All those things can cost us 3 road wins. Then you throw in in West Coast swing twice , the Texas swing and 20 wins are cool with me.

There were only 9 teams that won 20+ games last season and out of those 9, 8 of them won 52 or more games (the Warriors had 21 road wins and won 48 games). I just don't see the Sixers winning that many games so I'm going to say that they end up somewhere around where they were last season with 18 road wins.

2 more or equal to how many we had yesterday with the significant offseason improvements this team has made?

I'd say around 24-25 road wins.

This better be a 50+ win team. I'd be very disappointed if we get anything less than 50 wins...

Presuming we win 50, how would that actually break down? I'm guessing they go about 26-15 at home, so that would mean we would need to go 24-17 on the road to win 50.

I'm not so sure this is a 50 win team yet. More like 46 to 48. 50 or over would be nice.

Well Sixers should re-gain homecourt advantage so I'd say they go 30-11 and I'd say on the road they would go 25-16 on the road. Thats 55-27..probaly good enough to be in the top 3. This a new 76er era I just hope Elton Brand is what we expect and hope that injury from last year doesn't bug him in a 76er uni. If everything goes as planned, 76ers will be a team to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference.

Wow, talk about optimistic. I'll venture to say I would be utterly shocked if by next season, this team is capable of winning 55 games. It will take us being very healthy and a lot of improvement from Young, Iguodala and Williams as well as consistency from Dalembert and contribution from Speights.

Last season, only 2 teams from the East won more than 54 games - Celtics and Pistons. Only 3 won over 45 in fact - Celtics, Pistons and the Magic. Tough to imagine we can improve by 15 games, although it's within the realm of possibility.

A 30-11 home recored is also a tough task. Last season, the Celtics and the Pistons were the only teams in the East to win 30 games at home, although every single playoff team in the West accomplished that feat, so it's not out of the ordinary if we get off to a good start, stay healthy, and get good crowds.

I like the optimism though. It's about time we were able to be this optimist about the Sixers without looking like idiots.

45% think the 76ers will win 20 road games, while 23% think the 76ers will win 21-23 road games. It's obvious their are a lot of 76ers fans out there right now and why not. I only wish we could unload Dee Lynam for Julie Banderas or Rebecca Gomez.
