Who do you think will score more points this season? Our bench(minus williams) or Elton Brand?
D. Marshal + Reggie Evans + Theo Ratliff + Royal Ivey + Kareem Rush + Willie Green VS Brand
WG= Averaged 12 last year, Expected to drop due to less playing time
Marshall= 4 points as a sonic, Id be more than happy w/ that as long as 3 of those point are from beyond
Ivey= 5.5 last season, but williams is our main pg backup
Ratliff= 4 points last year, thats gonna get cut in half
Rush= Pulled in 8 with the pacers, will be more like 5 in philly
Evans= averaged 5 last season 7 in the playoffs, now he goes to the bench replaced by brand
Overall, I calculate our bench will produce around 20 points a game, about the same as brand, but who do YOU think will win this battle?

Re: Our Bench Vs Our Star
Ratliff should see more court time this year than he did last year so I don't know why he's only going to average 2 PPG. Either way, this is an INSANE question and I'll take Brand.

Re: Our Bench Vs Our Star
I voted our bench... When I look at this question I was thinking, what the hell you miss-spelled starters and it's a no brainer, but looking at the question it's very good.
I think our bench is going to be surprisingly good, I've been a fan of Rush ever since Syracuse played him and Mizzou a few years back, I think he's finally found his home and is going to flourish here.
Green as much of a chucker as he is, he will get his points.
Ratliff, I'm expecting defense not scoring but anything is a plus
Ivey, I expect more out of him than a lot do and I'm hoping I'm right.
Marshall, I refuse to think he's digressed that much. and I think he will be a key contributor off the bench.
I know a lot of people will think I'm insane and expect too much out of these guys but I'm allowed to prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Have to go with my former player here. If Williams was in I would say the bench, since you took him out had to go with Brand.

Re: Our Bench Vs Our Star
The Bench by far
Louis Williams will average somewhere between 13ppg-16ppg, and will make a serious run(if not win) sixth man of the year.
Willie Green will average 10-12ppg.
IMO our bench will average at least 30 PPG, with Green and WIlliams averaging more than twenty together.
Players like Rush and Marshall will hit the occasional three adding to the average.

Re: Our Bench Vs Our Star
Didn't see the Minus Williams. We could potentially average 20 ppg from our bench without Williams.
More than likely we'd average no less than 17ppg and no more than 20ppg.

Willie Green will average 10-12ppg.
As much of a chucker as Green is, he isn't averaging 10-12 PPG while getting 10-12 MPG.
And I don't expect Williams to average more than last season because I don't expect him to get any more playing time.
