Truth, and one that works his ass off to improve his game. The anti-Simmons.

I also think he, like a lot of shooters that come into the league, needed a few seasons to gain the confidence that he currently has. Redick was kinda ass until about his fourth year.

After 10 games, Sixers have 4 of the top 28 3 point shooters in the league (highest 3P% with >4 3PA). In order, Curry, Green, Korkmaz, Niang. Not bad.

Got us some bombmas.

Such a joy watching this team be United as they are right now, just as we are on this forum. 8-)

What i like about the game was we won a close game. Our guys got tested and rise to the challenge.

Kork’s defense was challenged by Derozan.

Down stretch everybody contributed. Maxey made that elbow shot like Michael Jordan in his prime, kork hitting Kobe shots, Biid step back like 7’2 Durant and Niang shooting like Big shot Rob down the stretch.

Doc said with his post game interview that they were ready to play Drummond-Biid frontcourt for this game. Not that they think its good but more on necessity with who’s available

Furkan Korkmaz should be starting in place of Danny Green. Or at least play 30 mpg as our 6th man. He's ready to breakout with consistent minutes. His current 22mpg isn't even close to enough.

I love him off the bench but I have to agree. This guy is a stud that needs to be on the court more, and we've got him locked up on a bargain contract for three years. Thank you, Daryl Morey.

The game last night was amazing, fun to watch and the team is just not willing to lose. They aren't the most ultra talented squad in the league, especially down several players, but kudos to them, to Morey and the FO for some great signings and re-signings this summer and deals and draft picks last year, and while Doc has his faults, they have coaching staff that is as deep as the team and some great assistants that are clearly coaching a group with excellent chemistry, work ethic and coachabiility.

I hated seeing both the Simmons haters and fanboys invading the game thread last night, the guys isn't playing and both sides of that love/hate relationship detracted from what the team and individual players are doing and have done. This was the first seed in the EC last year, but every team is different every year and props to guys like Maxey (expected as a second year guy), Shake, Kork and even Embiid all stepping up their games on the defensive side of things. This year Biid is playing at the DPOY levels he wants to be recognized as playing at, and both the scheme and the players executing it are doing what needs to be done to impose their defensive will on the other teams they play.

Shooting and passing and the willingness to both feed the hot hand and to keep shooting even when your first couple shots didn't fall is nice to see and the ball and players moving without it is great basketball. Could they have done this last year without the guys who are missing? Not at all likely, but the additions we made of players, the improvements the players have made and commitment to each other and to doing what they are coached to do is beyond impressive. I'll leave the trade talk and other nonsense to other threads, and while I know they can't keep up this pace, especially while shorthanded and with a tougher schedule to follow, I am just going to appreciate what we have now and let Morey and his staff figure out how to make it even better. Damn these guys are a joy to watch!

This x 100.

I think I said it before, but this is the most watchable and thoroughly enjoyable Sixers group since the Iverson Finals team. I hate to say it's not sustainable as long as the key guys stay healthy unless the entire team goes into a shooting slump, which is unlikely.
That's the beauty of having different players step up nightly, which will only be enhanced once Morey delivers us another contributor (or two?).

The only thing unsustainable is winning at an .800 clip with half our rotation not available to play.

When we're fully healthy (sans Young Socialite), we can play with anyone.
