Not the prettiest win but we'll take it. Damn, the Lakers really suck, bang up job putting that group together.

Embiid looks shot, it might not be a bad idea to sit him on Saturday, although I don't see it happening.

I thought he looked like he landed awkwardly early on. Making took it down a notch the rest of the game.

Tobias Harris played well. We criticize him when he plays poorly. We must praise him when he plays well.

If Tobias and Maxey shoot 5-7 threes a game this team can go far

There is no such thing as blowout games with Doc Rivers.

I enjoyed this run by Embiid. But this situations reminds you why its very tough for him to be an MVP and why he needs to play with another top tier star. Not just a top 40 player.

The problem is you might not be able to get another star at least not for Simmons. Ive said it before and I'll say it again Im fine waiting but just because Morey waits doesnt mean some kind of deal to land a star happens. Simmons, for all his talent, is a very problematc player who is awful in the playoffs with a questionable mental makeup and while young its not like he is 22 anymore he is in fact 25 1/2. If Morey doesnt get a star for Simmons in the summer imo he is on the clock to be the hell out of town if he doesnt start nailing every move in the immediate future after that. Its that big of a gaffe imo. Embiid is having a historic run to just say this is going to happen year after year with the guy's injury history is foolish. Punting this year is a risk. Imo there is no Juggernaut team. If Embiid keeps playing like this a couple quality additions, stars are not, would certainly put them in the title mix imo. I mean Korkmaz and Thybulle are mediocre players and they play a ton of minutes. Imagine how much better the Sixers could be if those minutes were replaced by quality NBA wings. You honestly can't underesitamate it imo.

Only because he is covering for the rest of the teams weak defense and has to leave his man all the time
if he was to stay on his own man that player would be shut down every night he is that dominate.

The truth about embiid defense is sometimes he tries. Sometimes he doesn’t. Which means if embiid really wanted to be elite on defense. He could.

Yes. Some plays on pick and roll. Anthony Davis rolled to the rim. Embiid stepped up to cut off the defender so that left Davis wide open for dunk.

So it’s either let defender get layup if he sticks with Davis.

Davis played very good yesterday. I thought Davis outplayed embiid. Was kinda of shock Davis wanted to guard embiid. Usually another player guards majority of the minutes embiid when Davis plays embiid

But there were defensive plays embiid was his usual rim deterrent
