Just a tough night for Joel, he missed a lot of shots that he usually makes. Lots of in and outs too.

That defense doesn't look like anything special to me. Looks like Embiid just missed almost all of the shots he'd normally make at least half of, with a defender in his face no differently, in having his customary game.

I agree
In the beginning of the game I noticed Embiid seemed a bit passive and I have no doubt he wanted his guys to get going knowing how the raptors play him. I dont consider his play selfish. I think once he realized his teammates had cooled and the raps took control he started forcing shots. He had a off nite but you also have to give the raptors some credit. They consistently crowded Embiid and used their length and athleticism to get back to their own man. Embiid was not able to get into any rhythm at any point in the game and held the ball alot stuck between looking for the open man, cutter or taking a fade away.
That is when Harden , Maxey, or Tobias is supposed to step up. Whats the point of being a top heavy team if these guys cant handle good defense.Maybe run more plays for Maxey who can use his speed. Tobi and Harden dissapointed me the most.

Embiid was just gassed it was nothing the raptors did.

He even lost two jump balls

If you want to depress yourself, just watch Jordan play “defense” for a few possessions

So LeBron, Giannis and Embiid are all tied for averaging 29.8ppg
