Tobias quietly picked the game apart last night. Playing some terrific PF basketball all series.

He's really settled into his role. The contract is still awful, but with Embiid, Maxey, and Harden, he doesn't need to be that second scorer or playmaker that he needed to do before. It seemed to allow him to focus on defense and attack/shoot when open.ankle420breaker wrote:Tobias quietly picked the game apart last night. Playing some terrific PF basketball all series.

Can’t believe Joel played and immediately proved that we’re better than the Heat. All hail the king.

Everyone else was fine. Maxey's scoring outburst put the game away when Butler was coming on in the second half.
Danny Green. Thank you.
Sloppy turnovers from Harden, but he was solid this game and played like a vet. Led either team in +/- by a considerable margin. I thought Niang and Shake came in and provided a boost. Harris, probably his worst game of the playoffs by a considerable margin on either side of the ball, 1-5 from 3, but that 3 came clutch in the 4th.
All in all great showing. The Heat were held to 79 points in 2022 lol.
Nothing but two days of ice packs for Joel's face and let's even up the series Sunday.
Stormi, brother, I’m tired of and1 your every post. Can your finally post something bad? Please?
Bromance forming before our very eyes

Agreed. Tobias has reach a point where he’s making winning players even when his shot isn’t falling. His passing tonight was great and he played good defense like normal. Bill Simmons is very annoying but he’s talked about how good passing is contagious (usually when he’s taking about Bird/Magic). I think we’re seeing some of that from the team in response to Hardens passing.
Crazy that he’s averaging 18/9/3 & 2 stocks on 51/39/86 shooting while guarding the other teams best player in these playoffs. If he does that consistently, he’s prob worth a max contract lol.

MVP of the series so far has been Pascal Siakam without him we are at least up 2-1 maybe 3-0

Absolutely … but we needed Embiid on court during those last 4 minutes because 30 points was gettable. Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Swiftly changed from what I could tell. Doubt that some journalist would be privy to that information. Surely the final result would be under lock and key till announcement day.
Yeah just like supreme court thoughts...nothing ever leaks.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

The leaks are real. The news is fake.
