If you guys take Iguodala and Lou off our hards, I almost don't care what we get back.

*sigh*

you wouldn't do this trade?

Other than occasional scoring when he's hot, Lou gives you nothing. He can't facilitate, he doesn't defend and his constant shot jacking really hurts you when they don't fall.

We would get two young players, almost $9M in expirings and more playing time for ET and Meeks

Would you do http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=28mr3nm

There is a subtle difference between I don't care what we get and I want 3 young players, even if one is a restricted fa.

Yea, the extra money in expirings is nice, but really we need good looking young bigs first and foremost. I'd also like to quietly trade Iguodala in a scenario that makes us markedly worse this year.

Smaller trade of two guys who's butts are glued to their respective benches:

Speights (NYK want another center and he sort of is one) straight up for Anthony Randolph.

See if Collins can get something out of Randolph and catch some lightning in a bottle with his shot blocking. Both players have seen their stock go down the last few years.

I believe Anthony Randolph was hyped to be the next Chris Bosh a few years ago...doesn't seem like he's working very well at NYC these days?

also re: just cap space
You guys really trust this team to make the right decision as to when/on whom to spend that?

With Rod Thorn, yes.

If it was still Stefanski...then I probably should watch another team

Wolves give 2 first round picks (MEM & UTA) Brewer, Pek, Ellington? for Iggy

Possibly discuss Wes Johnson if the trade above doesn't seem fair enough.

It has to be George instead of Rush for me.

Didn't Rush used to play for the Lakers? They didn't bother to re-sign him a few yrs ago. Looks like he has come a long way.

Gotta get a 3rd team to give us matching expirings + something for Richardson. He's a good player but we don't need him.

Earl Clark is a total bust of a prospect who's rookie option wasn't even picked up, no way he has any value in an Iggy trade. lol I'd rather have Battie on the team for Hawes/Speights to practice against.

Richardson has value... just not to us. I can't see a team (contender) willing to give up assets necessary for him to equal the value with Iggy. (JRich is in a contract year wants big $$ and is not young... so i can only see a team like Dallas/Chi giving up very little to land him).

No offense but I though I read that Phx didn't even pick up Clark's 3rd year option. In other words, he has little or no value.
