One more Milwaukee win and its a coin flip for a top 2 pick.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Would love to get into the top 7 via trade, but it's def a longshot.

He's intriguing, but is very limited offensively. I'm ok with him as the second pick, but not trading up to get him.

There's also the *TEN* more Sixers losses that would need to go along with that 1 more win. This team is turrible, but I don't know they can break the record of most consecutive losses by *ANY TEAM* in *ANY* of the four major sports by ten losses.

I think the 76ers' best/last chance is Saturday against the Pistons. Perfect storm: The Pistons are tanking to hold onto their top 8 protected pick, It's the 2nd of back-to-backs, on the road, and the 76ers will be playing hard to avoid the record at home.

Even if he never develops his shot I'll take an all nba defensive team player without a doubt

It's official, Embiid declares. With the recent back troubles does anyone think he's Oden 2.0? Or is he a safe pick?

Nope, Oden has degenerative knees.

I don't think it matters as my guess would be that unless he slips to number five and we are picking there, he won't be the choice. My concern would be less Greg Oden than Brad Daughtery, who had a nice, but very short career arc due to back problems. Since we are looking for a dozen year franchise anchor, I am wary of him in the long term, plus the team has Noel at that spot. Wiggins and Exum appear to be much more in the line of that kind of player, and while fit isn't a huge concern yet, they do fit the profile better, as would Parker. Having Noel with a knee injury history and Embiid with a back injury history is definitely risky sounding.

The most important thing is that he increases the depth of the talent pool at the top of the draft.

If we're trying to build a championship contender, I say we have to get Embiid or Parker....Wiggins worries me, he might just end up being a terrance ross clone, which isnt a bad thing. Parker and Joel are franchise changers

A defensive core of Wiggins/Gordon/Noel would be a great start to the rebuild. I get that positive, but I am a little less willing to jump in and trade a lot of assets to move up to get him.

Noel is a 50% FT shooter, Gordon is worse...having two guys who are that bad at the stripe is such a detriment late in games and during the playoffs. Both can improve, but that is a real concern if you're trying to win a championship...forget hack a Shaq, it would be hack a Sixer (take your pick...).

They may be that. But Neither player is one of the top 30 prospects.

Wow, Jerami Grant and James Young are better than Julius Randle? Young has no business in the draft and Jerami Grant is a direct beneficiary of Ennis setting him up. Ennis should be higher than those two too.

I wouldnt make a big argument for any of the players from 9 through 14. For me, it comes down to bust potential and ceiling. Julius Randle, while a gifted athlete, does not have a game that will easily translate to the pros. He could be Paul Milsap, which would be very good. But much of Milsaps game is effort, and I have to assume Randle is going to give that kind of effort. I cant assume that, so he has major bust potential, IMO.
I would have Ennis higher than Jerami Grant, but Ennis has a low ceiling. He may be no better than Ray Felton when all is said and done. Grant is one of the 5 best athletes in this draft. I think he has the best defensive potential of all the SF's in the draft outside of Wiggins.
I think James Young is the best pro prospect on Kentucky, and his game will translate to the pros. He has the size a and tools to be a good 2-way NBA SG. He will have to go to a team that will run him off screens and develop him as a catch and shoot player, because he has a weak handle. If he had a handle, I would have no question about him.

Agree on McAdoo, but I think Robinson is flying under the radar a bit. If they can grab Robinson in the early second round, it would be a huge steal. I like McAdoo in the second round as well...great length and some untapped potential.

McAdoo is terrible. He should not be drafted in the first round. I have followed him now for 3 years...You do not want to draft this guy

His body needs the most work....great athletic ability and a shooting stroke but he would be eaten alive in the post at the next level.

Depending on his work ethic in the offseason, he could be a 20 ppg scorer next year for UCLA. Make himself a lot of money.

Per WT, Zach Lavine will declare for the draft. He is an intriguing prospect. We wont really contend for 4-5 years so if you see the potential he may be a player to grab with our second pick..

Would you take Lavine or Young if you had a choice between the two?

Feel like Randle plays harder than anyone projected to go in the lottery. I get what you're saying though.
