Where is Jerryd Bayless?
When did this wrist injury occur? During training camp?...What is his timetable?
At this point I would rather a faulty wrist, rusty Bayless than TJ.

I was wondering the same thing today. Things have been really quiet on the Bayless front.

How can you not see him when he's the most handsome guy on our bench.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

If we're asking where things are, how about Roco's shot, Browns basketball IQ, and Sam Hinkie?
Seriously where's Hinkie?

According to Brian "Alka" Seltzer, JB took part in a scripted portion of practice on Sunday.

Re: Where is Jerryd Bayless?
my guess is that he practices with the sevens while the sixers are away in houston. and he makes his return with the team on Wed (home vs. the wizards). limited minutes prob.
the sevens don't have a game until friday apparently so i doubt he hangs with the team that long to play with that - it's probably a move to keep him practicing while the team is away.
or he will go back and forth - back with sixers on wed to be on the bench, gone thursday while they go to min, back saturday. again for legal practice reasons.

That's pretty optimistic. Who knows what he's even doing with the Sevens. Wouldn't expect him back this week.
Now if they say he was scrimmaging that changes things.

I doubt things have changed from the initial timetable of 1 month.
And just speculating, but that timetable is based on his responding well to conservative tx. If he has a relapse of pain with this return to practice then he will need surgery. So keep your fingers crossed, because the team really needs Bayless (and less minutes for TJ.)

Him ultimately needing surgery after all this would be extremely frustrating.

Re: Where is Jerryd Bayless?
I don't know the particulars of Noel or Bayless' injuries... but it is common to base decisions around the timing of the season. For example, my guess is that the team is calling Noel's procedure "elective" because it is the type of thing that would routinely be done at the end of a season... but non-surgical (conservative) treatment might normally have been the first choice when you are in the season.
Along the same lines, it is possible that Bayless might have been directed to have minor surgery instead of try rest had this occured earlier in the off season. But again, I'm just speculating. But in general, teams avoid surgeries in-season. That is why you see so many players have things fixed either very late in the season (if a team is eliminated) or early in the summer. Although on the same token, it is better to properly fix something in October than to have issues that get worse closer to the playoffs (but we are talking about the Sixers.)

Kind of wish he and Sergio's contracts could swap for each other.
