Two game winning shots with top teams against the ropes.

Jabari Bird looked really good tonight, too.

Marcus Keen in the second round would be amazing for us.

Jayson Tatum to me is the best fit for Philly. I think hes going to be a offensive monster in the NBA. A smooth ,Sweet shooting scorer.

Tatum is a good fit for you guys. A two way player who is an elite scoring prospect who also rebounds. His game would fit very well with Simmons and Embiid and damn talk about a huge front court between those 3.

He is my new crush. If we pass on him I'll be disappointed.

Alright, so we need a shotblocker that can rebound with C size to groom as Embiid eventual back-up.

An A.J. Hammons-esque prospect in the 2nd round or UDFA would be ideal. Shame we couldn't have brought him back in the Noel trade.

Anybody got a clue what the hell we are going to do with 4 2nd rd picks that we now have? Thats 6 incoming players from the draft alone if the lakers pick conveys. Obviously some could be packaged to move up some. Some euro stashes are likely as well with BCs track record. But we literally dont have the roster space for these players, especially considering BC is almost guaranteed to spend some money on some players in free agency.

Sell. Package to move up. Trade for future picks. Use on a euro stash. Etc etc.

I like a lot of guys in the second round this year. Also see opportunity for stashes (Alpha Kaba, Jonathan Jeanne, etc)

I mean, I guess you can consider all three of Miles Bridges, Jayson Tatum and Malik Monk ball stoppers since they're primarily scorers that don't distribute much. Just like Brandon Ingram and Jamal Murray from last year.

I like to reserve that term for truly egregious cases, though. Like Dwayne Bacon.

I haven't watched enough to know if any of those guys are ball stoppers, but there is a clear distinction between a scorer who is a ball stopper and one who isn't. Being a ball stopper doesn't simply mean you are a primary scorer who doesn't distribute much, it means someone who disrupts the flow of the offense to achieve their scoring, ala Jahlil Okafor. Players like Monk don't distribute great, but he does play within the flow of an offense, taking his shots when they are there and moving the ball to the next man when they aren't.

That's what I'm saying. I only like to use that term for guys that stunt their respective offenses.

If they can do it efficiently, who cares if they try to score the ball a lot?

If anyone watched Jayson Tatum last night against Syracuse, they must be blind to think he's a ball-stopper. He did everything within the flow of the offense and was dropping dimes left and right. Amazing performance.

The guys who didn't impress were Kennard and Allen who were constantly chucking and playing hero ball.

You must be using outdated scouting reports and not actually watching the games.

Dedric Lawson looks to be a legit 240 pounds now. I can't believe how much he grew.

Yea, it's funny how ESPN labels him as a guard.

I'd definitely take a shot on him as a stretch 4 if the opportunity presented itself.
