If peeing your pants is cool, consider me Myles Powell.

So call me crazy... but i'd be quite content with the following late season roster swaps lol

Shake --> Powell
Korkmaz--> Springer
Millsap--> Reed
Jordan -->Bassey

I think we'd actually be a better team.

Add to that:

Burke or Joerger --> Rivers

Voila! We're a championship contender.

Another quiet Chuck Bassey clinic

Read on Twitter

The fact that he has the stretch five + rim protector combo in his bag makes him extremely intriguing.

Detroit stole Braxton Key from us with a 10-day contract. Everyone was concerned about losing Haywood Highsmith to Miami, but Braxton feels like one of the few guys on this roster not on under contract that could make it in the league.

Springer with good games but also complete duds. Might be ready for a role at some point next year, probably later in the year. Once he’s consistently visible down there he’ll get minutes with the big team.

Springer will be used a deal filler in the summer.

Yup this is by far the most likely outcome. Hopefully it’s because he’s got value and is wanted and not just to get the salary off the books for no asset value.

Jeez, kind of a shame if he never gets on the court for us. Like the idea of a real physical guard. I’m under the impression that it isn’t that he has to add much to his game so much as gain more consistency on his shot, which does show up some nights now.

Not even his final form! (Ignore that Saben Lee hung 40 on them that game)

How on earth does Glenn get away with keeping this kid off the floor? Someone in the organization has to be saying WTF.

Like, I'm not claiming he's an NBA starter... but we're playing one of the worst players getting minutes in the NBA at his position

Reed had 7 o-rebs (!!!!), 16 rebounds, hit some 3's, blocked multiple shots and had 18 points in like 20 minutes. But he can't for the life of him, see the floor here with a team that's lethargic, unathletic, lazy, small and mentally weak.

In another system on another team Reed and Bassey would be blowing up right now. It's depressing how little organizational creativity and trust we have in our own homegrown talent.

Key for Reed and Bassey is to be able to hit corner 3s. Atleast one of these two (not at the same time) are future frontcourt partners for Embiid. We already been seeing Reed play some 4.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

What's incredibly depressing is watching highlights of games like MEM-PHO last night and watching a Memphis team without four starters find a way to beat the Suns. That's called having quality depth and not being afraid to use it and coaches being creative when undermanned, things that are utterly foreign concepts here.
