Tatum is shooting 27.5% (14-51) inside the arc this series. Warriors are making it tough on him, but I think Ime is spot on saying he's hunting fouls a bit too much.

My favorite warriors play of all time was back in 2015, and i swear this happened and i want to find this clip was the alley oop for Bogut for a dunk and onced he caught the ball he kicked it out to a shooter
This guy also saw it

Look at the other alphas, they tried to let them rest on defense. Even the Clips dont put Kawhi on Doncic, until its crunch time.
Let your alpha scorer rest on defense, and let him score his 30 on offense.
If you wish to roll with Embiid, you need to let him take a small role on defense. Its impossible for Embiid to be alpha on defense and offense

Embiid has been coasting on defense already for years.

We saw it in Toronto, and now Boston is one-upping them with these "F*** You _____" chants, last night toward Draymond and Klay.
Breen made it worse by soft soaping it, going out of his way to praise the atmosphere before timidly suggesting that "maybe we could do without the obscenities". And then that moron Jackson goes on to emphasize that it "isn't just Boston".
Boston fans, especially Celtic fans, have always been classless and racist, going back to when they played in that decrepit dump, and that included the piece of garbage Auerbach. I knew several that lived in NJ back in the '80's that made no bones about the fact that they were Celtic fans because they had more white players (Bird, McHale, Ainge, etc.).
What bothers me most is the idiotic double standard and the way Philly fans have been vilified while Boston and NY fans get away with abhorrent behavior routinely. I lived in North Jersey (unfortunately) for many years in the '70's and '80's, saw a ton of games there and knew a lot of NY fans.
This idea (manufactured by the national sports media, most of whom are from or work in NY) that they are are somehow this 'classy' fan base is the biggest bunch of crap I ever heard. Remember the Giant game where the fans were throwing snowballs on the field and wouldn't stop even when warned by the PA announcer? Every Giant fan I knew, and the NY media, insisted that they weren't "real" Giant fans, but other fans that had scalped tickets. I kid you not.
Sorry for the rant, but this stuff, mainly repeated ad nauseum by the ignorant and lazy national media, has gotten so old already and it seems to endlessly be perpetuated.

It is lowkey sad that society has become this unruly lol. This is something you'd expect from an ECW house show in the 90s, not something you expect from an NBA Finals crowd on a national broadcast.

No doubt, and I consider it a lot more than just lowkey sad what is becoming of society in general.

I think the way past legends feel about each city speaks volumes about the two fanbases. AI, Barkley, Dr J, etc all love Philly and are consistently coming back. Russell hated Boston and other previous stars don’t seem to give a f*ck about the city as soon as they leave.

Yes i believe you were one of the first or the first to point this one out.
This is why i dont see him fitting to play C.
A C should be anchoring or the very least not coast on your defense and rebounding.

Is he playing at 70% on D most games? Sure.
Is that 70% still wildly impactful? Yes. Advanced statistics and the eye test support that. Embiid going all out would mean him playing a switching scheme or doing a hard show on PnR, which he’s capable of, but would wear him out. The drop coverage already is an acknowledgment that we need to save him for offense. But he still can be the anchor of a very good defense that way.

True. Even Bird has had nothing to do with Boston or the Celtics since he retired.

Looking ahead to the offseason, Gobert for Capella/Collins/#16 just makes so much sense for both sides. The only other offer I think comes close is Simmons + S&T Claxton.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:
Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Talent isnt everything.
Talent in context of how playoffs is played and the nature of team construction, is everything
How depressing is it that this post is 100% correct. Smart has also become a contributor from deep and you can't leave him alone outside. Not a great percentage shooter, but once he gets hot he is a valuable addition to Tatum and Brown. Averaging 15.5 per during these Finals.

Did you see the NY Rangers fan cold-cock the TB Lightning fan the other night at MSG? I don't remember the last time a Philly fan did that. And listen, I am not here to paint the NY fanbase with a wide brush bc of this idiot, bc there were many Rangers fans who instantly helped the victim and pointed out the assailant and helped security locate him. But the special treatment Philadelphia is painted with compared to instances like this or the stabbings outside California baseball games is so hypocritical. Put a bunch of raucous inebriated men (and hey sometimes women) in a stadium and it doesn't matter what city you're in. Y'all should see what happens over in Europe at and outside soccer games.

In my opinion it's interesting with Curry because I honestly believe he ascended to stardom and was in his prime still during LeBron's era (2014-2018) and if you ask me, ain't no way Curry was greater than LeBron during those years.
Once LeBron became a Laker, I think he took a step down and in that 2019-Covid stretch, the Warriors fell off and Curry missed almost an entire season.
So the question is, was Curry ever the greatest at one point in time? Surely the most innovative and changed the game the same way Jordan and Iverson did, but does he truly own "an era"?

Steph is a 2x MVP and on the cusp of potentially winning his 4 championship for the only franchise he ever played for.
Kobe/Duncan shared an era. This has been Steph's era. LeBron and Durant are just co-stars of Steph's era. Steph will likely pass the crown over to Giannis after that. With Embiid/Tatum/Booker having a darkhorse chance.

T-Mac saying Curry isn’t on Kobe’s level is so ridiculous. Curry is an all time PG. He’ll be top ten when all is said and done.

Steph has been disrespected his whole basketball life, it seems.
I was looking back at his freshman year at Davidson where he lead the Southern Conference in scoring and lead Davidson to a 29-5 record (Davidson was also the only conference team to make the Tournament). And they gave the Conference Player of the Year to some F who scored less than him and whose team went 16-14.

Curry is a level of greatness that James could never dream of touching. With one team his entire career, never abandoned a franchise after winning there and wrecking it chasing his precious 'legacy', never met in hotel rooms plotting 'superteams', doesn't make it all about himself at the expense of his team, doesn't throw other players and management under the bus, etc., etc.
Maybe I see sports greatness a little differently, but to me it's as much about things like being an invaluable part of an organization and, elevating that organization to heights it never reached, loyalty to teammates, being a class act, and a touch of humility as it is about rings and stats. James might be the greatest physical specimen that ever played, but true greatness? Hardly.
Just my opinion, of course.
