It was always going to end with Embiid vs Westbrook on both ends.

So excited on how good this team can be down the stretch. Biid’s scoring in crunch time reminds me a lot of how dirk was in that championship run

Kinda weird the Lakers are confused on who is taking the last shot when you have an arguable GOAT on the team. Westbrook? Lol, I don't care if he's an all timer in transition. It's not 2015.

The blatant LeBron privilege with those 4th quarter reviews was disgusting

He shot a fadeway while being guarded by a guy like 10 cms smaller than him :-?

And thats good that we can generate that kind of a situation given how potent the Harden-Biid two man game is

????

How is that good???

Embiid can shot a straight jumper over Westbrook, why did he need to fadeaway?

He never was an elite scorer, he just scored on volume

I get that, but he was a career 83% FT, 31% 3FG up to that 31ppg season. Afterwards, he's been a 69% FT and 29% 3FG. I guess the 3FG% isn't drastically worse. Just kinda surprising to see such a drastic drop in the FT%. His jumpers these days look like knuckleballs.

Ever since he couldn’t do his routine at the FT line everything plummeted. It was years ago now but sometimes players can’t adjust.

Correct. Last possession by Biid was not ideal. He had Russ on him and faded away on a step back. He could have taken it inside the paint where he can choose to finish near the basket or kicked it out to a wide open shooter when defense collapsed.

Hehe

I read ur a rox fan. Anyway, we tried that route in 2018.

Against the best teams in the playoffs, thats the best shot we got. And im willing to bet my life we’ll continue to live with those shots

To be precise, Rox turned Harden fan.
Well, at least Biid is a good midrange shooter so def can live with that. Midrange is way better than 3pt shot in crunch times.

The point is, objectively that's not the best shot we could have got. The best shot was a straight jumper. If the shot goes in, yeah, whetever, but is still a bad election
