Must be nice to ignore reality.
If you have to resort to name calling you lost the argument.

I didn't call you anything. I was describing the "fanfic". Kawhi Leonard went 15, was it because he was going to ruin the culture? How about Jokic in the second. What are we even talking about here? You think teams didn't draft him because he's on TikTok? What an ignorant take lmao.
Well...You called him a Boomer which is basically a polite way of insulting someone from his generation. You also got up in your feels over me cracking a couple of jokes about him painting his fingernails the other night. You then proceeded to try and take me joking around about him dancing in booty shorts with painted nails down a personal road of agenda for you. I personally have no issue with us drafting him. I think he's going to be a good player and possibly exceed where he was picked. From a basketball POV I see a great shooter and someone who can move really well without the basketball. He's going to be a terror offensively and opposing defenses are going to have to game plan for him. I think he's Jalen Brunson made over. I think we hit a home run with this pick. As bad as I wanted us to draft Dalton Knecht, I think this was the right call.
Outside of basketball, what he does (booty short cheer Tik Tok dances, and fingernail painting) is his birthright, freedom, and his privilege. It has no personal effect on me and I want to be clear on that because again, you attempted to create a narrative with me that didn't exist to begin with (as if you know me). You threw a slew of shots on here too that I didn't even respond to because it wasn't worth it. As far as McCain goes, it's not as if he's out there beating women and pointing automatic weapons at children the way Malik Beasley is. I can find way more damning qualities/reasons to dislike someone (Donald Sterling, Miles Bridges). You're asking people to accept him for who he is and I can't disagree with that, but if you're asking past generations to accept the new generation, then it needs to be a two-way street that's reciprocated. Otherwise, all ideology ceases to exist, and we're left with "you're a hater" and "I don't support blah blah blah." Guys from my generation (90s kids) didn't paint their nails and dance around like cheerleaders in striped booty shorts. I'm not going to apologize for not doing that and I'm not going to apologize for not fully understanding it. You brought up Dennis Rodman. Rodman was an anomaly, a divergence, and an eccentric oddity back then, and guess what? That generation...Mine...The grungy, hip hop infused, helmetless skateboarding 90s, rave going, JNCO jean wearing punks accepted Rodman. Point being, that a lot of us did things that the generation before mine close-mindedly refused to even try and understand. I've been told countless times by older people that I'm going to burn in hell because I have visible tattoos on my body. Obviously, there's going to be a bit of misunderstanding and ignorance going on, but stop making it sound as if it's only coming from older generations. MoeGreene has his stance on this and you have yours. I don't support his aggression or the slurs he's throwing out there, but it's his opinion and we can ignore it. Maybe you two should take this private and hash it out? I just wish you would quit acting all offended about people teasing and making comments about him painting his fingernails and the Tik Toks. Stop acting as if it's a big surprise. Some people are going to make fun of him for doing this. Again...Being crystal clear...I like the pick, I like the player, and I also get the generational gap. I have no issue accepting McCain for who he is as a person. It's not a big deal to me what he does, but it's also not a big deal to me if people want to make fun of him for it because he's openly leaving the door open for it to happen. What McCain is doing pales in comparison to Rodman "going for it" 30 years ago. The only difference is we didn't have social media back then to create stupid ass arguments over someone painting their nails or dying their hair, or getting tattoos. For the record, I'm with you on this. Let him be who he wants to be. I remember wanting the same thing when I was 20. Put MoeGreene on ignore, he probably needs it.
