Just need to keep doing what they're doing for a 47 game losing streak. Or will they fail at failing?

We should go for it! What are they gonna do, force us to fire our GM and hire a Colangelo?

1000% agree. Glad you've changed your mind after going in on Tyrese to start the year when he was without George, Jared, Joel and hardly had Yabu playing with him. Many still going at it him in this situations

Two totally different situations. People are calling PG cooked and lazy. I never said those things about Maxey. I said his inefficient chucking wasn't impressive early on and he can’t be counted on to carry a team. To date, he still hasn’t done anything to prove otherwise…that doesn't mean I don't think he isn't trying his best or wouldn't be better with a fully functioning roster. He's just limited.

At least Portland is still behind us. Need to regain focus and get this tank back on its tracks.

Only two scenarios I can accept for now
A. Tank and save our pick this year and give it another try ( and the last one ) next year.
B. Go for playoffs this year to save the face of this franchise and start rebuild this summer.
Any other plans would be a hell no for me.

One win I can understand but two back to back? Did everyone on this team get the memo? What the hell is going on here ?!

Told you there was no way they were going to lose enough games.

Only way to free fall is to limit guys minutes. Maxey playing entire games doesn't scream tank to me

Maxey is also playing like a top 10 player in the league now. That's not the type of player tanking teams have.

Maxey is upset that he did not make the all star team. That is what that altercation with the Chicago fan was about. Seriously when does Maxey get upset? Now he is about to take his snub out on the entire NBA, 8th seed here we come.

Fan said you will never be an all star again you suck Maxey ! Maxey was like OK I'm gonna drop 31 on this team.

The play-in is really working against this tank crowd, and since that pick would have to be in the top 6, that makes tanking an even worse thought process.

I figure the Big Idiot will try to put on his imaginary cape in March and we will make the play-in. After that, who knows but I do know one thing.....this team isn't going to tank.

100% this. They aren't going to tank. I know the dreams of flagg are dancing in your heads but it ain't happening with this current roster. Maxey plus PG and the rest is enough to ensure play in level. I guess technically we should wait until after the trade deadline but without a roster change you are all setting yourselves up for disappointment.

Now, if before the deadline, Morey say trades PG for Beal and a pick or 2 to make that 3 way work with Phoenix and Miami, and then they rule embiid out for the season, that would indicate otherwise (even playing Beal doesn't make them better, he's a terrible player).

But yeah, its a dead dream

The play-in is doing its job... minimizing tanking. That's exactly what Silver wants. These myopic owners saying "oooh we can get an extra 1-4 home games of revenue".

No one is watching this team in the play-in again, though. Complete waste of time.

I agree. The play-in is what's hurting any tank for this team. Even half healthy, we are better than the Bulls, and that ground can be made up in a matter of a week or 2. You really have to be truly terrible to tank, and that is exactly what Silver wants.

BTW, as you say, I stopped watching this team in December. I can't believe I still have league pass, as I don't use it anymore and need to end it......except I still have hope that IF we get healthy. Yeah I'm an idiot.

Yeah, I haven't watched an NBA game since well before Christmas. I have YouTubeTV anyway primarily for UT games, so just in case there is any chance of interest, which is highly doubtful. The league has never held as little interest for me as it has the last couple of years. No compelling teams, too many damn 3-pointers.

From my username, its obvious I'm ol' school. I don't like seeing constant 3s being shot all the damn time. I usually watch games on my computer while watching Netflix or something on my TV. If our big 3 were playing, that would change, but unfortunately that hasn't happened enough.

I can't say I don't watch, they just don't get my full attention. Max does have my attention, and he is putting Philly on full notice....he is the franchise.

It’s too late to tank. Brooklyn Toronto charlotte Washington. Will continue to lose. Chicago is desperate to lose more. I suspect the sixers can be a 30-52 win team and still slide in as 10th seed play in.

Looking forward to another 4-6 years of stuck in mediocrity pre-rebuild phase!
