Somebody has to get fired if we don't make the playoffs this year. The only acceptable scenario would be if Embiid shuts it down and gets knee surgery. Nurse should be culprit number 1. Morey is a bit of a tougher case since he has put together great young pieces despite sinking $100M into Embiid and PG for the foreseeable future.

Just sit them on the bench and don’t play them

There’s no law that requires these 2 losers have to see any minutes. Let them sit on the bench and rot.

George more so than Embiid. I'm gonna die on the Embiid hill. I think a lot of us forgot the pain and suffering we endured from 2006 to 2018.
Paul George can leave. Hopefully he retires. Otherwise this summer needs to be dedicated to finding a way to make things work until he's gone.

George should've been guarding Damian

its baffling as **** lol

we scheme to leave the best shot in basketball the corner 3 wide theeee **** open. Without Biid I kinda understood it but even with this corpse version have teams attempt to finish inside instead of gifting them easy looks

He's providing zero rim protection at this point. Lopez hits threes like Bill Laimbeer so Embiid has to go out to cover him. We're getting cooked by the same type of guard each game. It's awful. Paul George is so **** stoned out there. You can't tell me that the guy's not eating indica edibles before each game. He literally hates his life and in three more years it'll end. Of course he'll be 38 by then and sign a vet min contract with Boston and end up having a great season. "I don't know man, I was just down and out in Philly, I didn't care." 45 year old Al Horford will be like "yeah man, I've felt great ever since I left." Meanwhile Embiid will be traded to Memphis where he wins a ring, and Maxey will be the new punching bag by then. He'll have gray hair and a permanent frown on his face. We'll all watch highlights of the old Maxey and title them Happy Days. **** this. I'm out. Gonna eat a 2 dollar steak and watch the Eagles lose.

Stop trying to salvage something that's dead. Send Jo home to get his surgery and send Paul home to get his finger tight. The first time Maxey falls down, he's out for the year too.

I give you a lot of credit. I don't know how you maintain this level of passion for what is essentially a dead product.

The fact that they know Embiid needs another surgery and long recovery and yet still pretend to "compete" shows the total disregard and utter lack of respect they have for the fan base.

Just let Embiid have the surgery shut him and Paul George down for the year and come back next year and pray to God he stays healthy. I don’t know what to do. I’m beyond frustrated.

If I was running the team, I would find someway to get rid of both of them and build the tea around McCain,Maxey , and Edwards is a nice piece as well. We need a new infusion of enthusiasm.

I agree with this. We're basically tied to blind hope at this point. I'm gonna swim in **** water and hope I don't get a bacterial infection.

Gotta let PG play; need to rehab his value b/c if Joel does get surgery and is out next year they need to move on from PG.

Agreed, just limit him and Maxey to 30 minutes and play plenty of lineups without either of them, they'll lose every game. I think even more than building up his value, he needs to stay in game shape so that he doesn't fall off completely

I’m more concerned about Embiid’s statements earlier this season when he announced he wouldn’t play on the second night of back-to-backs—something that raised eyebrows around the league. Now, he’s saying he needs a second surgery and a longer recovery time.

You don’t hear Anthony Davis publicly announcing he might be out indefinitely. It feels like Embiid and the team aren’t on the same page. Shouldn’t they be aligned in their messaging to avoid confusion? And why announce this now, just as the team is finding its rhythm after he sat out for a month?

Honestly, I don’t think it would’ve mattered if Paul George dropped 20+ tonight. What we needed was rebounding and defense.

Doc Rivers and the Bucks saw a wounded animal and they went in for the kill repeatedly.

If you are the opponent and you knew Embiid’s condition, you’d probably also ask the team to crash for offensive rebounds and anticipate that there would be a bias for the team to limit drives in the paint over challenging 3s.

What a clown. Sell the team Josh!

Seriously this idiot is expecting a "playoff run"? In the immortal words of Ricky Watters... FOR WHO? FOR WHAT?

Their ceiling is getting absolutely curb-stomped in Rd.1 by the Celtics or Cavs.

Anyone with a lick of common sense at this point would TANK and try to keep their first-round pick. Let Embiid get his cleanup surgery NOW and get enough time off to rehab properly and come back at the beginning of next season.
