The Pistons are in cruise control right now so I wouldn't read too much into that game next week.

Jeez, people panic too quickly.

If the Sixers take care of business, we get the #5 seed, because I have no doubt the Raptors and Wizards will lose enough games for us to get it if we win 5 of the remaining games.

Better hope it starts tonight then, Toronto @ Atlanta and Washington has a cakewalk at home against Milwaukee.

If Philly went 5-2 the rest of the way, Toronto would have to go 4-4 or less for you guys to pass us. Toronto's remaining games, @Atlanta, Charlotte, @ New Jersey, Milwaukee, New Jersey, @ Detroit, Miami, @ Chicago. I don't see 4 losses there, maybe if they lose tonight, if they win tonight, they won't lose 4 more times in those last 7 games.

The WIz have a much tougher schedule (and we play them)...for the Sixers to have a realistic shot of getting the #5, Atlanta winning tonight is almost a must.

I not worried about the other teams. If the Sixers get hot again they could win 6 of 7. If they take care of their business everything will work out, and they will be the hottest team in the East entering the playoffs.

if the Sixers only win 4 games or less it will show that they have cooled off, and are less likely to pull off a 1st round upset regardless of who we play.

Washington, IMO, has the inside track on 5th, they have 3 cupcake games coming up, Vanilla (Milwaukee), Strawberry (Miami) and Chocolate (Chicago). In all likely-hood they devour those tasty cupcakes and improve to 41-36. They do have Boston, Detroit and Orlando left after that, but Detroit has been coasting and resting their starters, and they'll probably see little of Dwight against the Magic in their finale. You do have one game against them left, so you can make up ground there, it's in Washington though.

That's nice and all, but they don't control their own destiny, so even if they do "take care of business", they still could finish 7th. Seeing that Toronto and Washington could very well take care of their business as well.

That's fine. I may be unique hear, but even getting in the playoffs is gravy. If we enter it still hot we might steal a round, which would be great to watch- but I am more looking forward to how the new GM usies the teams assets and capspace this summer(and before next deadline) to position themselves as a more legit force in the East.

This season's success sort of came out of the blue, so its hard to know how the team will do in the playoffs given they are very much a work in progress.

Other than Boston- who will be in the EC Finals, the rst of the playoff teams seam beatable and flawed- and it will come down to match-ups. A team like Orlando or Toronto would match up well against the Sixers, but maybe not so well against Atlanta or Detroit. Conversly, with Thad Young in the line-up, Detroit and Philly match-up pretty well. Philly has the young legs and length and the Pistons have the experience.

At least, the Sixers have control over the sixth seed since there is still one game against Washington remaining. And they have won the tie-breaker against them.

Mike Bibby hit a 3 with .5 seconds left to send the Hawks/Raptors game into Overtime.

Come on Hawks!!

BAM!!!! Ramon Sessions hit a buzzer beater to take down the Wizards!

WOW! What a great minute for buzzer-beaters on the Sixers' behalf.
