Interesting. It's as if they say.. "F defense. Let's see if your second unit can match our offense."

They have that mentality with every rotation.

Is JR Smith their 2nd best two way player? I guess Thompson if you count his rebounding. Lot of one ways guys on that roster.

Oh.. my bad

If thats the case yeah maybe JR or Love. I find Love to be underrated by most. Cavs plays well whenever he's on court. Always been one of their leaders in on/off numbers.

I don't know about how ya'll feel. But I'm really hooked in this year's playoff for some reason.

Probably the only series i dont watch is the Jazz-Clipps game, mainly because I find Clipps boring and Gobert is not playing.

Celts-Bulls is interesting. Could Bulls be really this good thus Cavs opted for the 2nd spot? Celts isnt really good based on our last few games against them. They always play like a playoff team rather than a talent of a playoff team IMO. Yeah, IT andHorford are gimmicky star players.

Butler just sonned IT lmfao hahahah..

The Celtics built a team that lives and dies by the 3 with a bunch of guys who are average at shooting the 3. That's some great team building!

Oh, and their best rebounding is Marcus Smart.

The Bulls-Celtics result may actually be bad for us. I was hoping the Celtics continued to think they were legitimate and just add a few pieces around a maxed-out Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford. This series is going to wake them up and make them go get a real star.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I thought the same exact thing....if they lose the series, they will go star hunting. And they have the assets to do it.

Id trade IT, draft ball, and then get mo bamba next year. Will be a force if the lottery falls their way.

No matter who the Celtics get, they're not going anywhere as long as LeBron stays in the conference.

Could also pressure them to take some risk that could lead to mistakes. Right now their margin for error is closing with the money they use for Horford and wasting a top 3 pick for Jaylen Brown.

Their trying to match the Cavs. A similar strategy Rox has employed to match the Warriors.

It's obvious 3 > 2. But could hot shooting 3 > superteam?

In the end, these games are mostly just a 3pt shooting contest.

I don't get why the Celtics wouldn't just trade down and draft a guy who can actually rebound?

There aren't any superstars available though. Butler and George are all stars, but they are second banana types.

I have always argued that the Celtics were in the same boat as the Sixers were before we got Embiid and Simmons. Their only hope was the Billy King haul getting them a superstar.

They struck out last year when they didn't get Simmons. This year they have another chance if they get someone like Ball.

Teams like them, Atlanta, and Toronto are not real contenders, and don't have any real hope of becoming contenders. They are just high end treadmill teams.

Boston has the trump card of those Nets picks, and they have to pay off for them to become a contender. Trying to win with the current team is not going to work.

Nothing will make me feel better than the Celtics falling to 4 and miss out on Ball Jackson and Fultz.

A star wing isn't moving the needle at all for the Celtics. In fact them spending their chips on a wing guy makes me more convinced they'll end up mediocre quite soon. More scared of them getting Bamba or Ayton and having either end up good to actually fill the gaping void they have at center.
