Guys his nickname is "the process" ... The process means to tank seasons. 80% of the coachs are anti-tanking. For this season I think it's not a big surprise tho....

Millsap is a good player and had a good year with a play off team who's having a good season, it's okay. Next year :)

I can't think of any off the top of my head.

Obviously he was making the Rising Stars Challenge, that didn't have anything to do with it. Any player that made the AS game in any of their first two seasons recently would have made Rising Stars/RookieSophomore Challenge as well.

What did he say? And what did Shaq say about Embiid?

Obviously, but I wasn't sure if there was a rule in place preventing a rookie or sophomore from playing in the Rising Stars Challenge if he is good enough to make the All-Star Game during his first two years in the league. Sort of like in high school, where certain freshmen are good enough to skip the JV team and instead play for the varsity team.

Also, wouldn't be the worst thing if Embiid doesn't make the All NBA team before we extend him. Would be nice to get him locked in for less than the "Super Max". Helps our future cap/tax situation.

So true! Cap space will be issue very soon. Having 2 supermax would hurt a lot

sixers, it was always sixers

Does this have any bearing on what type of extension he is eligible for next year or is that All NBA spots? They have to pick a center for All NBA iirc.

In the new CBA all stars don't matter anymore. All nba does, as does MVP and DPOY.

I'm all for allstar not a popularity contest. But who the hell would want to watch Derozan, Milsap, Love and IT play. Truth be told, even Lowry is boring.

I long for the day to watch Giannis, KP, Ben Simmons, LeBron and Embiid on the court at the same time.

Brandon roy played in both in 08.

Rose was selected for both in 2010 but didn't play in the rising stars.

Blake played in both in 2011 and 2012.

Could Embiid's recent "injury" also cause him the spot? His lack of minutes might be magnified because of it.
