Then this team better work to get Tyrese Maxey his 20+ points every game.

We need more of a Chris Paul role & that is what he’s doing averaging over 10 dimes a game. With all due respect people saying we need him to be the Houston James Harden just do not know the first thing about basketball. It’s not what’s needed on this particular team.

That is when has to pull up for that 10 foot Chris Paul type shot. You don’t always have to get to the tin.
FireMorey wrote:It has been part of his game. Don’t know why he’s gotten away from it but he’s worked the mid range before on his career.
I suspect it’ll be more part of his game next year if his leg issues are a reason he lacks lift on his jumper.

This.
And add to that it is beyond idiotic to believe that anything resembling 'Houston Harden' has even existed for at least a couple of years now. Like I said yesterday, you're better off waiting for a unicorn to appear.
Axxon wrote:Yep. The Houston James Harden is the last thing this team needs and why people can’t see that I have no idea.
Joel, Harris, and Maxey should all take more shots than James,

C&S 3 is a must though. He passes up way too many, just like Tobias used to.

VDT wrote:Harden has naturally declined somewhat, but part of the reason for his bad finishing at the rim is the lack of a lob threat. Its much easier to finish at the rim when the defenders need to also defend the lob.
