I saw the vid where he was playing with the kids, he seems like he didn't add any weight. And if you notice, no one is talking about it from the Sixers side so I'm guessing he didn't add that much weight.

It's not a big deal. Everyone naturally gains weight and size as they get older. As long as he is putting in the time in the weight room to get stronger it doesn't matter if the weight comes this year, next year, or the year after. He's never going to be huge, but should have a body like Kevin Garnett over time (another guy who was rail thin coming into the league).

Can we make a new Nerlens thread? This one is kind of awkward at this point...

Yes, I think we need a new thread. Nerlens did not win rookie of the year.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.

I say Okafor since he will play the entire season unlike I think Embiid unless your friend's lawyer friend is correct but I'm starting to doubt your friend and think Embiid may be shelved for the season lol.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Noel was absolutely better than Wiggins, so was Mirotic as well.

Why was Wiggins more deserving?

Andrew Wiggins won ROY because he had a solid rookie year, played all 82 games, and showed he has the potential at the age of 20 to be the future of the NBA.. I had Noel on my fantasy team, and there were many times thru the first half of the year I almost dropped him, he wasn't very good, he did however play well the second half of the season. He is a great player, but not ROY..
Mirotic didn't have the minutes to win ROY, another great player, who had some nice games, but considering, how consistent Wiggins was, and how much better Wiggins got from start to finish..

He has won DPOY and been to two All-Star games. I think this is a good comparison of what kind of player Noel will likely develop into.

A combination of Noah, Kirilenko, Chandler, and Marion.

Noel had one of the best defensive seasons ever for a rookie. He established himself as one of the NBA's most impactful defenders as a 20 year old. He was top 10 in steals, blocks, defensive win shares, defensive rating, and defensive +/-. He didn't win ROY because defense isn't as sexy as leading rookies in PPG and terrorizing Gobert with dunks. Wiggins had a good year but sorry, Noel had a greater positive impact for his team.

I didn't watch 76er games, so I don't really know the impact he had on your team, but I am very familiar with the stats he had, had he played the way he did in the second half all year, then maybe he wins i guess, but I still give it to Wiggins.

Ya playing defense isn't flashy but he has the potential too be one of the best defenders in the game. He came on sum offensively late and if that part of his game continues, then I'll take him over flash y Wiggins any day

You guys act like wiggins is a one way player, Wiggins plays great defense too and he always guarded the other teams best offensive player.. His defense dosent show up in the stats. So if you started your own franchise, you would really take Noels over Wiggins. . Your wrong my friend..

I think there's no question and has been discussed before how Noel is the overall more productive and more impactful player than Wiggins.

The reason I raised this thread was with the question whether if Noel has added size or not?

Wiggins doesn't make his teammates better, offensively and defensively. This low OBPM, DBPM and BPM. But nevertheless, he's a good individual scorer and defender. Sorry to bring up this thread.

Noel played well with Ish running the point, I wonder if he's in Hinkie's ear to bring him back.
