LaVine, Morris, and 26 OKC 1st to CHA
Harris to CHI
Hayward and Washington to PHI
In a perfect world, that would be four seconds instead of a first. But we're in a sellers market.

I'm very interested in Hayward if he's bought out. But this last suggestion seems like an overpay. Tobi's better than Hayward or Washington, and in the playoffs the minutes tend to consolidate. And at this point, if the Bulls are shedding Lavine's contract and receiving a highly competent player, I think they're the ones shipping out draft capital. What's your thinking re: Washington?

If we're trading Harris to Chicago, I think it's only fair that Caruso comes back in any deal that's created.

Sure, except the Bulls don't want to tank. They want to make the play-in.

POR respectfully declines.
No problem trading Grant but POR values him more than this.

I wouldn't trade Harris (expiring) for Grant (paid roughly 25% of cap until 2028) straight up, let alone add multiple assets to that deal.
His athleticism made him a defender with upside when he was young, but he doesn't block shots at a high rate anymore, he's a terrible rebounder and certainly not a high level team defender. Offensively quite good as a forward, but similar to Harris that he doesn't excel as a 3rd or 4th option.

I was gonna say something a bit similar re: Grant, who seems to be a coveted target here. I'd add one more thing:
Grant used to play more as a 3, which (physique-wise) seems to be his natural position, and a lot of his success came there. Now he's being played at the 4 and I just don't think that he's big enough (combined with quick enough) to guard the more physical power forwards or to out-rebound them. We'd be swapping one combo forward for another, as Tobi too ought to be a SF (as he was in Detroit) but has slid over to the 4 as he's aged. Except that, as you rightly note, Tobi's an expiring whereas Grant is under contract for years.
Tobi actually has better career numbers than Grant, is only 1.5 years older, and at least by advanced metrics has better value THIS season than Grant. Grant's having a career year in 3P% so far, but IMO that alone isn't sufficient reason to commit 4 more years to a well paid, undersized PF who averages 3.6 rebounds per game. (Grant probably wouldn't average 20ppg here b/c we have Embiid and Maxey whereas in Portland it's mainly Grant and Simons scoring highly.)
tl;dr: Grant's having a really nice offensive year but IMO he's not much of an upgrade from Tobi, if at all, is under contract for 4 more years, and wouldn't help us to compete with Boston unless paired with a very strong PF.

I think the goal should be to pair them together. Morris/Covington/+ for Grant works nicely.

^ agreed, if we make a move for Grant it would be to see if he and Tobby can work together at the 3/4.

RoCo, House, Korkmaz, Springer, 24 & 29 2nd
To Raptors for: Gary Trent Jr and Jalen McDaniels
I know it’s debatable if GTJ wants to come here to play for Nurse, but he still is an enticing easily getable guy that is a a great fit. And McDaniels is probably a more useful wing body for D than whatever is left of RoCo at this point.
Maxey- 35 mins
GTJ- 30-32 mins
Tobi- 33-35 mins
Batum- 26-29 mins
Jo- 35 mins
Melton- 18-22 mins
Oubre- 12-15 mins
Morris/McDaniels- 16-20 mins (split based on matchup)
Reed- 13-15 mins
Pat Bev- 8-10 mins
Kmart Jr and Bamba as depth…and maybe for once we get lucky with a buyout better than Morris/McDaniels to pair with Batum

That team is going exactly where this current one is heading a second round exit. By all means lets just punt this year. You guys get these crushes on awful players Jalen McDaniels sucks. Jaden would be nice lol. I like Gary Trent Jr. He would be a guy I would be looking at, along with other aquisitions if this team wants to do anything this year.

At guard: Brogdon or Caruso
At big: Wendell Carter Jr. or ... wait for it... Dario Saric.
Reed could be attractive to certain other teams, possibly GSW and possibly Chicago. I still believe in his development, think he's going to get better with sustained playing time at the 4, but he's almost certainly not going to be a big part of the Sixers' solution this season.
My goal with Carter or Saric would be to play them at the 4 in a two-big lineup, sliding Tobi to the 3. If Saric just can't keep up with 4s any longer after the ACL injury, then I guess I'd be open either to him or Drummond as backup C.

They "have a mandate to get 1st round picks" apparently. This is a 1st round pick, seems to meet the criteria.

That’s a pretty good deal. WAS might want a little more for Kispert thought
They’d have to give that one serious consideration.

Brogdon/Caruso and WCJ would be huge for PHI but not sure PHI has the assets to do both.
