I don't like what i'm seeing but just gotta wait until the free agency. At this point i'm pretty sure that butler and tobias will stay, but oh boy gonna be hard to fill the roster.

Bring back Hinkie!!!!

If Bol Bol is a health concern, Hinkie would of drafted him at 24.

They need the cheap depth. The last 6 guys on the bench aren’t playing in the playoffs anyway.

They now have to get at least 3 actual contributors on vet min deals. Good luck with that.

Yep.
People who think we could form a playoff bench from 2nd round rookies are delusional

Do we have any idea what the picks are?

we won't have much money to fix the bench after signing Jimmy and Tobias...and even less after extending Ben.

Great teams hit on these picks and have not only young, cheap talent off the bench...potential trade pieces for later. This FO is so **** short sighted that they ironically ignore oncoming issues. Jimmy and Embiid are going to miss games. Having young bodies to use is **** key to that...that way by the playoffs they are battle tested and ready and you aren;t relying on scrap heap trash like Greg Monroe.

I have complained about this every single draft...relying on buy outs is stupid because those guy are bought out for a reason....and probably will be just as unplayble as any rookie would be but with no upside.

I don’t believe for a second that they actually use those two end of the round picks.

Nonsense, there are good players that have been selected in 2nd round, and what we did is trade the pick for even more worse 2nd round picks, so there is no rationale lol

i love gafford, but he can't shoot. this was a poor draft to begin with, so if we don't like anybody there, use one pick to move up, trade the other for more capital, and scoop up a "maybe" in the 50s lke with shake milton last year.

we have the mle, and the caliber of a team that can attract minimum salaried veterans to fill out the bench. i also like jonah bolden, plus zhaire needs to develop. i have no problem with elton brand at all.

This team punted on the 10th pick in the draft a year ago. They're not going to sustain a playoff team because they don't value the draft.

In theory, we need picks in the future since we'll be so far into the luxury tax that we only get the smaller MLE each year. So it's harder to add free agents. But, really, we need some talent now so that they can mature and be contributors within the next 3-5 years, which (assuming we sign Jimmy and Tobias) is our window to win a championship.

I'm with you on this, they shouldn't draft a player like carson edwards just for the sake of it.

The sick thing is a ton of players I like are still available. Aren't we able to put two of our second rounders on 2-way contracts a la Shake last year?

I don't get this logic blaming Josh Harris for this....we're going to need cheap contracts...the 2nd round will be cheaper then a veteran minimum salary free agent.

In order to be able to use the full MLE and BAE, the Sixers will now have to sign three actual contributors on vet min deals. In a market where teams are flush with cap space. Good luck with that.
