I feel like Chi gets cooked in that trade.

I'm not as high on Maxey as some. If we had to send him to Chicago in that deal I would. I'd much rather send out Harris/Maxey/FRP and get LaVine/Young back somehow but I imagine it'd take a 3rd team.

Edit:

CHI out: LaVine, Young
CHI in: Hield, Bjelica, Maxey, 2021 PHI FRP

PHI out: Harris, Maxey, Korkmaz, 2021 FRP, 2021 NYK 2nd
PHI in: LaVine, Young

SAC out: Hield, Bjelica
SAC in: Harris, Korkmaz, 2021 NYK 2nd
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker

Do you think the bulls would value Maxey enough to take on Maxey and Green + picks for Lavine? Or is that a bs offer?

Probably not, but I don't think it's a BS offer.

Seems like most teams are going to be in the running for at least a play-in spot this year by the deadline, which probably means there will be less sellers on the market.

Yeah I figured they get young value in Maxey + picks and pick up an expiring deal with Danny. Think it’s a fair trade for both. I wouldn’t be happy trading Maxey, but if we decide to go all in he’s a piece you have to consider if you want to keep Simmons

I'd trade Thybulle for the Count of Monte AST/TO, aka Monte Morris. Apparently Morris can't be traded though since he was resigned in August. I lowkey think he'd be one of the better additions we could make. Incredible offensive player.

Reading through the Bulls forum, it sounds like their fans feel like:

Coby- untouchable
Williams- untouchable

Lauri- not sold on him
Zach- they seem split on this. Some appear to want to build around him, others want to trade him now to maximize his value and get picks back since they don't think they will be winning anytime soon.

But they also seem realistic in his value. They don't seem to want any win now pieces if they trade Zach.

So I would think to match salary and also not give them any win now pieces, it's gonna be tough. Danny Green is certainly a win now piece. So is Curry.

But...what about Bradley, Ferguson, Scott, Korkmaz, Thybulle and picks??

Not sure how a 5 for 1 player deal would work or how many other teams would need to be involved to make roster spots/waiving work.

But in theory, Chicago may be more interested in the picks.

Green is a win now, but he’s an expiring deal correct? It would take Maxey/shake/or Ben to get Lavine. Alongside picks and greens contract to make it work

Here’s an idea..

Bulls:
Maxey
Milton
2021 1st round pick
2023 1st round pick
12M expiring (poirier, ferguson and Bradley)

Bulls:
Coby White
Zach Lavine

What do you guys think of this one? viewtopic.php?f=2&p=88246047#p88246047

Lowry, Beal, Simmons, Harris, Embiid seems like a core of a real contender and if someone can figure out how to add septh for cheap, it's Morey.

Adds a crazy amount of salary to the team, this year and beyond. I wouldn't trade Shake for Lowry when you consider their contacts, particularly in this scenario.

How about Bjelica for Scott and Ferguson for a small deal? Sac has benched Bjelica and he almost signed with us a few yrs ago.

Of course yes but I assume KANGZ will at least demand a 2nd along w/our end of bench fodder.

Sure they can have our own second round pick this offseason. It will be in the range of 50-60 anyways. Plus they already get a young player in Ferguson who they can match any offers or atleast a qualifying offer next year.

That 50-60 range is where we got Shake Milton and Paul Reed. Bjelica likely wouldn't even crack our playoff rotation. I don't want to make that deal. There will be buyout options for free.

We still have NYK 2nd round pick and that will be an early 2nd round pick. Use that pick to target players you want. Not wanting to trade a 50-60th pick for a player that fits what we need so you can have chance to draft another shake milton is just crazy. The difference between now and waiting for buyout market is about 30-40 games. That's a lot of games wasted playing Scott instead of Bjelica for a price of a late 2nd round pick.

I think giving up any assets for Bjelica is crazy. He sucks, he's a snake, and he's a mope. Look at the year he's having.
