76ciology wrote:I actually thought people will point out the spacing problem of Siakam and Embiid. Glad to see people being mature enough to see how Embiid is trending to be Dirk Nowitzki and not Shaquille O’neal, like how i think he should and will be back even before 2019 and before.

Embiid is taking less than 20% of his FGAs at the rim. Most of his FGAs are at the midrange. Teams wont be able to help off Siakam, because Siakam alone is a threat that needs to be doubled in the paint and he will even be able to open up Embiid for jumpers.

The way to defend Siakam or Giannis is to put your center at them. But you wont be able to do that if they play with Embiid.

Defensively, Embiid can step out on those pick and rolls because Siakam can rotate to the rim and protect the rim. Kind of how Cavs is running their defense that has been a revelation for people who have doubts whether a dual big frontcourt may work on defense.

Offensively, with Siakam and Embiid there’s less pressure for you to hope you end up with a top tier guard because you have two reliable guys that can bail you out. So you can have Maxey or Seth running dribble drives and if its denied you can just dump it to your bigs.

If you need a 3, you can run pick and pop with Seth or any guard. If the defense switch, pass it to Embiid and let him shoot over the smaller defender.

Whenever you need to score Down the stretch or whenever you need a three, you just follow the Mavs or the Spurs blueprint.

And who knows.. maybe Siakam can revert back to his 2.2 3pt makes on 36% shooting in 2018-2019 if not, we’re prepared for it by mr.25

I agree with this. Plug Siakam into Tobi's spot and this is close to a serious contender.

I'm a fan of the idea of Pascal and Jo together.

Pascal would bring a lot to this team. We'd immediately become more imposing physically, defensively and he can be relied upon to score in bunches, even when he has to be the best player on the floor for a stretch.

If we could move Harris for like Hield/Bertans/Love/Wall we'd be cooking.

I just hate the idea of Ben in Toronto.

I don't like it. Siakam is a really bad contract and is barely an upgrade over Harris.

I get the Porzingis fit, not the Siakam one.

Good news! I think Porzingis is easier to acquire than Siakam for Ben. :D

Sixers:
Tim Hardaway Jr.
Reggie Bullock
2022 Mavs First Round pick or Mavs First Round Pick Swap
Why:
- THJ, like Seth, is a guy who can be much better on our team.
- Reggie Bullock has size to play 3&D at SF position, currently he’s struggling so we can acquire him for cheap.
- Two easier to trade contracts
- 2022 Pick swap allows us to move 5 spots higher in the draft.

Mavs:
Tobias Harris
Andre Drummond
Why:
- Doncic gets an improved scorer in Tobias. Tobias can play with KP and DFS, Powell or Kleiber, kind of how the Biid-Ben-Tobi dynamics is on defense.
- A big who can anchor the defense and defend Jokic
- allows them to have max salary by 2024 offseason

To get a good return for Tobias.

Find playoff teams who maybe looking to get a max cap space by 2024. As of now, I only see the Mavs.

Dallas also has a few less than ideal locker room types. Tobias and his books raise morale. Team leader!

For real, though, Dallas is the target for getting rid of Tobias. The other team, if they really don’t care about paying tax, would be Utah.

Porzingis would have to come with Doncic to get Ben. They still owe their pick next year to the Knicks, so they don’t have enough control over their future picks.

Since that’s not happening, no reason to even discuss Ben with them.

Sixers:
John Wall
Jalen Green

Rockets:
Ben Simmons
Tyrese Maxey

Will you buy low on Green and sell high on Maxey?

Yes, and I would add two future first rounders, as well. Jalen Green is a future star.

I haven’t been following him. But his stats shows him nothing more than a sexier version of Andrew Wiggins.

Sixers:
2022 kings first pick (9th for now)
Harrison Barnes
Buddy Hield
2023 pick swap option
2024 kings first round pick

Kings:
Ben Simmons

Why for the Sixers:
After the trade, Kings will be worse. Sixers can easily get a player as good or even better than ben simmons with the 2022 Kings’ 1st round pick.

Sixers got two scorers who fits our team.

Sixers will have around $50-60M in cap space in 2024

Starting:
Maxey
Seth
Barnes
Tobias
Embiid

Bench:
Hield
Milton
Korkmaz
Greeb
Drummond
Thybulle
Niang

He and Cade are both having sub-star rookie years, but both of their numbers are going to explode in the coming years. Green will be doing what Lavine is doing for the Bulls.

I'd do the trade for Buddy Hield and the draft capital, but that starting line-up repulses me. No defense and no spacing whatsoever. I think we don't even make the playoffs if the guys in that starting lineup are playing 30+ mpg for us.

Harris/Milton for Hardaway Jr./Kleber is the move!
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Harris for THJ/Kleber seems reasonable if the goal is just to break up the Tobias deal to give us more flexibility. Probably doesn't make them that much worse either.

Tim Hardaway would inject some much needed life into this offense.

Lineups with him, Korkmaz and Niang would be explosive as hell. Would give off serious 2018 fumes with Reddick/Saric/Beli.

Kleber+ THJ for Harris? Easy easy deal. Fax that through as fast as possible.

Kleber alone > Harris. And THJ brings scoring in bunches.

Would Dallas allow themselves to get heisted for our garbage after Seth for J Rich?

Eh. I mean, Tobias is definitely significantly overpaid. And his play style hasn't jived with a post centric offense. But I think he's pretty clearly a better basketball player in a vacuum than either of those guys.
