Harris, Bassey, Milton, and two 2nds for Dinwiddie, Bertans, and Bryant?

Maxey/Curry/Springer
Dinwiddie/Korkmaz/Joe
Green/Thybulle/(Simmons)
Niang/Bertans/Reed
Embiid/Drummond/Bryant

I'd be willing to roll with that into the playoffs. Or maybe you can add a 1st and Springer and re-route Bertans to DET for Jerami Grant?

What are your thoughts on keeping Tobias for the remainder of his contract?

So they are clearly trying to do something. I wonder if Tobi is possible to offload while they're desperate.

Not sure he fits the description of a "wing who can defend", and I can't imagine Utah wanting to absorb that contract.

But I love the idea.

I don't think Harrison Barnes fits that description either. In fact, Tobias is playing about as well as Grant is on defense.

Barnes is definitely more "3" than "D", that's for sure. I haven't seen Grant enough, but he does seem like a "great stats on a bad team" kind of player. Kind of like someone we know very well.

Ingles ($13 million expiring) and Bogdanovich ($18 million expiring next season) works money wise. Not sure what else would be added and the impact of replacing Harris with Bogdanovich.

Ever since Ingles got hurt I've been thinking that this is a landing spot for Harris but I don't think they want to wash away their cap flexibility this upcoming offseason (and the one after) for Harris. I think they'll just attach an asset to Ingles for an expiring contributor at the deadline.

Ingles and Bogdanovic matches as mentioned above. It puts Utah farther in the tax, though.

Jazz definitely have a surplus of shooting so I could see them warm towards a Harris/Bogdanovic swap.

We could definitely use the shooting. We'd take an even bigger hit on the glass though because Tobias is on another planet as a rebounder than Bojan.

They would have to be really be desperate. For instance, if the Mitchell rumors were true?

Right now is the Jazz’s best shot at a championship. I’d say they would be willing to make a move for a guy who was a fringe all star last year. Obviously overpaid, but he’s durable, plays big minutes, has shown the ability to be a positive on both sides of the court. The other guys mentioned probably have a higher asking price

PHI gets Barnes, Bertans, and Beal
SAC gets Simmons, Milton, Harris, and Dinwiddie
WSH gets Fox, Bagley, Hield, 2022 PHI 1st, 2023 SAC 1st

Utah isn't a market that can afford the tax.

New owner is swinging it around, 20M or so into the tax this year. But that's not sustainable. If Mitchell is a win now or I'm asking out proposition, then maybe they can be swayed to eat Harris for now.

That's exactly what it is. They didn't bring in Wade because they think he'd bring anything to the organization other than trying to convince Donovan Mitchell to not demand a trade.

A couple years ago, they viewed Harris was a potential target they saw to pair with Mitchell.

Well, it might have to be something bigger than Tobias based on this information. I'd hate to have to shop Gobert.

Gobert has more impact. Plus rumors are that Mitchell wants a big market.

So my guess is they would shop Mitchell. Maybe for a guy like Fox + assets?

Would Utah like Ben Simmons and a couple firsts?

I adore the irony in trading Simmons for Mitchell.
