He’s not that easy to replace if our intention is to have a 4 out offense or a non double big line-up
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Why not just sign Elfrid Payton?
Trade for Kris Dunn or Delon Wright

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
How about a halfway move like a first and Morris/Covington for DeMarr Derozan? I know he doesnt shoot threes but he is a big wing that does just about everything else the Sixers could use and an expiring contract. We still would have plenty of guys that can hit threes in Embiid, Harris, Maxey, Batum, Melton and Oubre. On draft night you'd still have 4 firsts to work with. Maybe we could also aqcuire a cheapish 3pt specialist for a couple seconds at the deadline.

I don't dislike it as a back-up plan, but the Bulls are 27-16 since the start of December. I think they'd rather keep DeRozan and see if they can win the play-in tournament instead of acquiring a low 1st or a couple of 2nds.

It's like recurring amnesia around here. That movie 50 First Dates where Adam Sandler is Tobias and the fans are Drew Barrymore.

He’s the exact kind of player we need to add. 5-8 man talent that we can get for fair value. Also, it’s critical we get another ball handler.
Kelly Olynyk is another one that could make sense.
Separately, Murray, Hunter, or Bogdan would all be a good add on if the hawks become big sellers.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Yeah, Dinwiddie makes a ton of sense for us. I saw rumors that people around the league think he’s quit on the Nets & is giving really poor effort this year. Might help reduce the asking price even farther lol

Trade for Kris Dunn or Delon Wright
I've been high on Kris Dunn this season, which is odd for me to say b/c I disliked him as a Bull -- but that was largely b/c he was brought over in the Jimmy Butler trade, and I wasn't going to be happy with anyone who "replaced" Buckets. He's a good defensive backup PG if he could be had inexpensively. He can guard guys bigger than him.

I like Dinwiddie. Not sure about how he is as a teammate, but the guy has been a Sixers killer at times (2019).

Remember he's playing with a bunch of other role players. Good role players, but still role players nonetheless. He'd get a ton of more easy looks with Embiid and Maxey's gravity.

I feel like the Nets may be the only other team that may want Murray. The Knicks don't need to add another guy that isn't good enough to make them a contender that also needs to dribble to be at his best. They just got rid of that and it's simplified their offense.
I'm thinking the 26 first and multiple 2nds could help get DJM

Not that it matters, but if we trade for Dinwiddie the likability factor of this team drops dramatically for me.
always a jump shot away.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
Dinwiddie shot over 40% from 3 with the Mavs. He’d see much better looks here than he does with the Nets. No wonder he’s on strike after dealing with their vicious fans and incompetent management.

Re: Fantasy Trade Thread
A guy like Dinwiddie is just another average player who has some skills the Sixers could use. I honestly feel like the Sixers need to add at least a quality level starting player to have more then a fart in the wind's chance against Boston. Its fine if we are going to basically punt the season but Dinwiddie doesnt move the needle much at all alone. Its going to have to be Dinwiddie plus Jerami Grant, or one of the Bogdanoviches, etc.
