I need Thornwell on the Sixers. It has to happen. He's a beast.

South Carolina's zone is suffocating. They are also playing a better game offensively. Duke trying to win on talent alone.

Thornwell is on the same level as Saric in terms of BBIQ, especially on defense. Draws fouls while reading the defenders actions. Gets in position for rebounds. Strips drivers. I mean, he's the MVP of college basketball this year. USC is a mediocre team, if that, this year without him.

USC is outplaying Duke at the end of this game. Drew a charge that was horrifically called a block in favor of Duke. Thornwell threw a laser pass into the post for an easy shot, missed, but O-reb refreshed the shot clock to drain more time off the clock and finished the possession with a trip to the line. Just a masterful 2 minutes for them.

I always get confused when a college team is able to call a timeout after they make a shot.

All the other SC players are trying to blow this right now while Sindarius is throwing hail mary's for easy baskets to beat Duke's press.

oh I know. was joking.
I think talent is talent. Yes having younger talent is ideal but eventually just get the best players and worry about that later.
but hey we have reached a time where being 20 makes you too old and a worse prospect.

Lonzo Ball does seem like a good dude in the interviews though. I don't think he will have any problems in the NBA as far as that goes.
I think his dad will get played out once Lonzo finally gets drafted and people turn to wait and see mode for his NBA career.
I don't think Lonzo will not want to play for anyone besides the Lakers, I think that's just noise from his dad

Showed a little more today. He'll need to bring that along with some consistency doing those things to the next level.

Josh Jackson is going to be a superstar in the league. He had a 10 minute stretch in the 1st half on Friday, where he looked like Julius Erving.
Been waiting on him to get his turn this year. Josh never lost number one on my board. Glad folks can finally see it and understand what we're dealing with and they can let go of the age BS.
I probably should have him #1, because he seems to have the most upside. But I'm still at Ball #1 and Jackson #2. I think Ball is the surer thing, but Jackson could be way ahead of him once he gets in the league. He's the only other player I think is on his tier. It's mind boggling to me that anybody else in this draft is considered on his level.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Upside based on what? He's older than the other top prospects, not extremely quick, decent size for a forward, with a somewhat underwhelming wingspan and superb athleticism. Jackson is a tremendous player and will absolutely become a two-way contributor in the NBA. But at what aspect of the game is he elite?

I'm not as big on Jackson (and Ball) as most of you guys, but Jayson Tatum, De'Aaron Fox, Malik Monk, Miles Bridges and Jonathan Isaac grew on me throughout the season. Dennis Smith has been the biggest disappointment and even he might blossom in the NBA, since he has all the tools, skillwise and physically.
As long as we're maintaining this 5th spot we'll be fine, don't think there's a huge drop-off in potential between 2nd and 8th spot. A PG like Smith would be great, a forward that complements Embiid/Simmons like Tatum and Isaac will be intriguing and Monk is the obvious fit.

Josh Jackson is so much better than Andrew Wiggins that it isn't close. Wiggins was a prospect list/mixtape creation. Jackson has better body control, better lateral movement, has a better basketball IQ, is a much better finisher, a much better passer and Josh Jackson's handle is 10x better than Wiggins.
