Willie Reed deserve all the trolling because he played dirty last night trying to get Embiid hurt.

Wtf why? It's only been two games since his last rest. Unless the knee is an issue he should be playing...

Load management. We'll see. Personally, I also hope he plays because most of my friends are Lakers fans haha
Doesn't make much sense to do load management after 3 games... He played about 6 or 7 without it... Only reason he's rested is if the knee gets worse IMO

Joel should give Ashton Kutcher a call, because Reed AND Jordan straight up got punked!

Sixers-Lakers is a national game on ESPN. With the league cracking down on resting guys "needlessly", I don't think they would do this now. Besides, after tomorrow night it will be three days before he has to play again.

Pardon my ignorance, but is Embiid a good 3-point shooter?

I've started wondering about it. He has this reputation of being a good 3-point shooter, but I don't think there's any evidence to support it. Yet he's taking a decent amount of them. I personally think his 3-point percentage in his rookie year (36.7%) was a bit of a fluke caused by hot shooting to start the year.

Last season, in his first 18 games he went 23-52 (44.2%)
Then, in the following 13 games before getting injured he went 13-46 (28.2%)
This season, in 11 games he's 8-35 (22.9%)

Now, I'm not saying he'll never become a legit 3-point threat like Porzingis, but I just don't think he's there yet based on these stats?..

He obviously will never be Porzingis, but I think that he is legitimately someone that can make open 3 pointers at, or better than, the NBA average.

He has a slow deliberate delivery, and should never be doing things like running off of screens, or shooting on the move, but if he is wide open, and in rhythm, he is capable. I don't want him taking 5 a game though. I would like to see him hit 1.2 out 3 per game, and I think that he can do that.

Capable 3-point shooter is what I'd say about Embiid.

What a dumb player with a low BBIQ.

Am I doing it right?

There were nights where I thought Allen Iverson was possibly God. Joel Embiid just had one of those nights. Holy Crap!

That was.....unreal. My jaw was on the floor watching him through most of the game, then the last quarter he upped it a notch. :o

For anyone that was too young for peak Iverson, this is why people loved him and venerated him despite the underwhelming efficiency. There were just nights where he wouldn't let the team lose. Embiid wouldn't let the team lose tonight.
