Well it’s too bad that the Rockets have no cap space unless Jimmy wants to play for the vet min.

Sure. We'll take Harden off their hands.

76ers would have to agree to that and why the heck would Philly want a 33 yr old injury prone and washed up PG that’s owed enormous amount of money for the next several years?

So yeah 20 a year probably wouldn't work.

Do you think it would be better to give Tobias 5 year 190 or Horford 4 year 100???? Maybe you can get both and trade Jimmy Butler to the rockets in a 3 way with Boston for Capella and We get Jaylen Brown a pick?

Some guy on reddit who apparently has some credibility calling Laker news is claiming that we're the team that is going to get Horford. Friend send me the link, so take that with a grain of salt. I'd definitely rather have Harris and Butler but if one of them has indicated they will look elsewhere it's not a bad idea (pending contract).

I really like Horford but it's not because he always plays well against us that we need to pay for him until he's 40.

Ugh, let's get even older. Was Brand's presentation when he interviewed for the job titled "How to cut our contention window from 10 years to 3?"

We all thought we'd be competing with the Celtics for championships for years. We were right in the sense that we might well be competing with them for the 2019 Worst Offseason Championship.

Simmons/?????/??????
??????/Zhaire/???????
Butler?/??????/Cam Johnson
Horford/??????/Bolden
Embiid/??????/???????

No cap space. No extra picks. What's not to love?

I just hate that each rumor (yes, just rumors) seems to be getting worse and worse. But I just don't have a lot of faith in Brand and he/ownership just seem hell bent on pushing in chip after chip without any clear direction.

It wouldn't surprise me if we overpay for al horford. How many people were expecting the trade for tobias this season?

This offseason will show if elton brand is completly clueless and should be fired on the spot.

Woj told today that Sixers plan is to keep all of the FAs, how is that bad news or rumors?

We were a good team before Brand pushed the button.

Now we are probably 1 of the 4 best teams in the NBA.

To me that's a clear and decent direction

I heard the thing about Butler but didn't hear anything about Harris/Redick. Was this on his podcast or a Sportscenter piece?

You could also look at it that we traded virtually all of our extra assets to advance two games deeper in the playoffs. I'm just still in need to see it to believe it mode with Brand.

Maybe ask some Boston fans what it's like to keep sitting on a pile of assets ...

If you don't want to take any risk you shouldn't be in this business.
We got 2 All-Star level players, still in their prime for what exactly ?

What business? Following a sports team?
