It's illogical to practice something as extreme as shooting with your opposite hand unless you're planning on making a permanent switch.

Injured players don't randomly start doing legitimate shooting drills with their off hand.
The whole concept of a rep is to repeat your normal motion and build muscle memory. So him shooting left handed just to get reps in wouldn't serve a purpose.
