Do we think Indiana would entertain something like
Ben + Tobi + Shake + Springer + Reed + 2 1sts
For
Warren + Turner + Sabonis + Levert?

Allows Indiana to soft reset and we could roll out
Maxey Levert Green Sabonis Embiid
Curry Furk Tisse Warren Turner

That 2nd unit could be insane!

I hope y'all are one day free'd from this grip Caris Levert has over you.

I got you fam

Sixers:
Buddy Hield
Christian Wood
- Christian wood is an elite 3pt shooter at the C position. Having Wood and Embiid allows you to play Green or Thybulle at SF, which is what they’re currently doing. Wood can just be like Brolo on offense, spacing the floor for Embiid to operate

Maxey
Seth
Green
Wood
Embiid

Kings:
Tobias Harris
- Hield is playing off the bench, they got someone who can start (they dont have a starting caliber PF) and gets rid of Bagley’s distraction

Fox
Haliburton
Barnes
Tobias
Holmes

Rockets:
Marvin Bagley
Jaden Springer
Paul Reed
- Youth movement

I like that trade as is for Philly. Very sketchy about a Harris and Barnes pair in Sacto, but you can sell it at least. I imagine Houston is holding out for a 1st attached though.

I prefer a Dallas trade for Tobias.

Levert would only be desirable as a bench scorer on a 5M or below contract. Nothing else.

I'd rather have Tobias than LeVert and I seriously dislike Tobias the basketball player, let alone the contract.

I just think that even if he doesn't improve a single lick, he'd basically be Malik Beasley (who would be an awesome fit as a springy athlete that bombs away from three).

Green was a really good defender and a really efficient scorer in the G league. I think there's reasonable hope that those two traits catch up and improve from where they are now.

No doubt in my mind that he can be what Zach Lavine is for the Bulls, in due time.

The thing that makes Levert intriguing is that he ticks a lot of boxes and plays an ideal brand of ball.

He does a lot of self-creation (obviously extremely valuable in the playoffs).
He shoots a lot of threes.
He has decent positional passing
He makes some plays defensively
He's tall and athletic.

I have a lot of guys ahead of him on my desirable list, but he'd be a decent get for us.

I also like him but his health issues are serious.

What can you say about Dinwiddie? I think he’s a buy low candidate and a guy Morey could be interested in if he thinks Dinwiddie can go back being a very efficient 18ppg scorer like a couple of seasons ago.

Sixers:
Kevin Love
2022 pick swap option

*Possibly a 2023 pick swap option if Cavs ask for more

Cavs:
Tobias Harris

Cavs run this system where they play Markkanen or Love at SF with Mobley and Jarett Allen at 4&5 positions. I do believe Tobi can join this party while Tobi has a brighter future than Love.

Sixers, Love is exactly the guy we need at PF. Someone who can be an elite shooter jacking up 3s. Sixers is also the worst rebounding team in the league and Love maybe the answer for this.

Love’s contract expires a year shorter than Tobias.

Maxey
Seth
Green
Love
Embiid
^ you then get elite 3pt shooters around Embiid

In terms of health, I trust John Wall’s health than LeVert. Am I wrong with this assessment? I think LeVert’s health issues are career ending caliber

Yep. I would also rather have Wall than Levert. Especially on a team that already has Embiid.

Cleveland’s front court is crowded enough. Lauri is not a full time long term 3.

Wonder if maybe you could talk them into Rubio and Markkanen for Harris and Milton? Sell them on Harris as a better option at the 3 who can self-create? Rubio being dead money doesn’t matter.

Phi c. Wood, e. Gordon, dj augustin

Hou harris, milton, reed and/or springer.

Would hou take it? Or how much draft capital should phi attach?

Phi wood, Gordon

Hou Simmons. (Could be + springer or reed)

In this trade phi should reroute c. Wood elsewhere i think for better fit with embiid/harris. (K. Oubre? Tim hardaway junior? Levert or tj Warren + picks? Tht+nunn + picks? D. Murray or d. White?,).
How much draft capital would Houston have to attach for phi to accept?

I don't see why the Cavs would want to move Love when he is finally really contributing and has become a solid team guy, especially for a ball stopper and worse rebounder with an extra year on his deal. And what exactly is Tobi's 'bright future'?

Tobi’s got 2 more years on his deal and at some point very soon Tobi will be a much better than Love. Tobi is just in a slump but if he plays like how he did last season while Love goes into a natural decline relative to his age then it will be evident. Cap space wont do the Cavs any good, nobody signs in Cleveland.

Don't agree on Tobias being better at any point - Love's game doesn't require athleticism and should age fine, and we're only talking about a couple of years. Tobi's game is what it is, and always will be. I'll take Love in a heartbeat.
