There is a corny Ragu joke in there somewhere

Anyways Nets are officially a dumpster fire. Durant bailed to the tunnel before the game was over and Steve Nash torched the entire team in the presser.

Giannis. So admire this guy.

Giannis Antetokounmpo numbers over the past 4 games

44 PTS - 12 REBS - 3 ASTS - 81% FG
43 PTS - 14 REBS - 5 ASTS - 64% FG
30 PTS - 14 REBS - 9 ASTS - 50% FG
34 PTS - 17 REBS - 4 ASTS - 50% FG

Incredible motor.
Plays both ends, with impact.
Makes everyone better.
Continues to improve.
Does not force it but let the game come to him.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I mean he's a great player and would be regardless but if the NBA less liberally interpreted the gather step he would travel on almost every possession.

I don't like watching him play at all. He basically just walks to the basket every possession

If Giannis keeps shooting a career high from three, he's the runaway MVP favorite and the Bucks are hard to compete with.

Side note, I think they should be looking for minutes for Beauchamp immediately. Cut into the 36 year old Hill and Matthews minutes to get the young guy up to speed. His defense with be invaluable in the playoffs and if he can establish early shooting confidence, watch out.

So Isaiah Joe basically beat the Mavericks by himself.

15 points in 9 minutes, going 4/4. I think he’ll get some PT with OKC.

Wait, why you say that? Doc really liked Joe.

“That was a tough one for me because I really liked the kid,” said Rivers regarding Joe. “I really believe he’s an NBA player. He was just caught behind so many guys, so that was very difficult. You know, we had a long talk.”

“I talked to him [on Saturday],” said Rivers over the weekend. “I’m very happy. He’s got a shot and a shot to play. So I want him to do well. He’s a great kid.”

Yeah, too bad Joe was caught behind all-NBA talents and proven playoff contributors like Milton, Thybulle, Korkmaz, Springer...God I hope he scores 25 against us and laughs in Glenn's face.

The Sixers didn't need to waive Joe. They only have 14 on the roster right now.

We really gonna do this over a great 9 minutes of scoring? He wasn't gonna play here. I'm glad he's getting an opportunity elsewhere.

You don’t see a problem with the fact he wasn’t going to play here?

If he was so convinced and was so sure he could do great maybe he could give him the 4 minutes a game he's getting on OKC

Ultimately, Joe didn't give the team a reason to keep him around.

In terms of traits, he's a bad defender and a bad playmaker.

He's a shooter with a very inconsistent jumper. Take a look at his jumpshot dropoff from his freshman to sophomore year at Arkansas.

https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/isaiah-joe-1.html

And then in year two in the NBA at a higher minute output, his jumper went backwards again.

He's a good kid, but we need MULTI tool players, not specialists with only one trait. And if you're going to be a specialist with only one trait, that one trait has to be consistent (see Niang).

He’s better than Thybulle, Shake and definitely Springer. That’s good enough.

You can say the same about James, but even more so. Giannis isn't nearly as obvious as James with the 'gather step' traveling.
