John Gambadoro‏: Josh Jackson has been promised – has worked out for Lakers in LA. Has not worked out for Phoenix yet. It could be Philly but likely Lakers.

Saric never said he would only play for the Celtics or Lakers. That was put out there and people ran with it. Saric never said that. And since you linked the article where does it say Saric said he would only play for them?

Saric never said he would only play for the Celtics or Lakers. That was put out there and people ran with it. Saric never said that. And since you linked the article where does it say Saric said he would only play for them?

Well when has lonzo said he'd only play for the lakers?

There's a long history of guys being rumored to want to go to the lakers, and ultimately it ends up not being an issue. People Can either take it with a grain of salt or get worked up about it for the 5th off season in a row.

Absolutely no chance PHX passes on Ball. The Lakers are going to be laughing on draft night when some people fell for their blatant smokescreens.

Lonzo has been pretty diplomatic. On the several occasions where he stated his desire to be a Laker, he's always bracketed it with saying he'll go wherever he gets drafted. Not even Lavar Ball has been so bold as to say he'd only play for the Lakers.

Ok? He also said he would play for whoever drafted him. Which he will. So who cares? This is a multi billion dollar business not a high school dance, no one cares if the guy doesn't get his first option. Especially if the Lakers directly pass on him.

Imagine the chip on Lonzo's shoulder if the Lakers do pass on him. It makes me want to draft him even more if that were to happen beyond all the obvious talents and attributes he can bring to our team

I'd love to see Ball fall to us at 3. The passing would be unreal. I think his cutting is underrated. Obviously no one loves that shot, but having him as our third best player could be pretty special.

Wow, a lot of picks moving. Boston probably only trades 1 for PG or Butler, but Fultz, Ball, or Jackson would be great prospects for the sixers.
