I can't effing wait to see these kids play. Realizing the type of talent we have, hasn't exactly hit me yet. I'm excited, it's to be an entertaining winter.

Same here. Still mind blown that we got Fultz to pair with Simmons and Embiid. It hasn't fully sunken in yet. Little more than a month til training camp. Psyched.

Fultz or Michael Porter Jr?
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I need to see more of MPJ. I only saw him once and it was in an all star game so it wasn't a real game. I wasn't that impressed. I need to see him in a real game. I hear he's not that good of a shooter. When I saw him he seemed somewhat rigid but again I only saw him for a few seconds. If I watch him next year I may be blown away. He is the top prospect so he has to be real good. I like his size and he handles the rock. I'm not so sure he would mesh with Simmons all that great and as of now I think Fultz fits better with Simmons but we'll see. I will have a better observation if I watch him a few times in real competition.

Just wanting wins this year should be exciting.
Some fans are blaming Fultz, if we lose the Laker pick. The pick has nothing to do with how Fultz performs. He could do well and some will still dislike him. Although he is young, he should be a very good playmaker and elite scorer.

Josh Jackson and Anybody.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I wish I saw Fultz go one on one against Porter with Fultz on offense. Porter roasted Fultz when he had the ball. I wonder if Fultz did anything to Porter.

You see DSJ shaking his head. First thing he did was way overplay Porter's right hand. That's what I would've done. But even though Porter's left is weak, that shot-making ability going both ways is sick.
[as an aside, despite the criticisms dsj gets for defense, i think the video showed that he had the best game plan against porter. dsj thinks the game faster than most others. ball does, as well.]

I totally agree with this. DSJ is way ahead of nearly every player in this draft, in seeing the game. That, along with the physical readiness, and it's going to be a bunch of teams wishing they selected him this season (76ers, Kings, Knicks). If he would have played with consistent effort all year, he would have been picked much higher. He's got Damon Lillard level talent, if not more.

Do you think we'll see a lot of TJ + Fultz backcourt?

It's only a matter of time before we see Porter dressed in Celtic green going mano y mano against Simmons thanks to that awful Fultz trade.

Pretty sure you have some sort of quota you have to meet per day with throwing shade at the Fultz trade man lol

For me to consider the Fultz trade a win by the Sixers the following must happen.
1. Fultz must be the best player in his draft class AND
2. Fultz must be better than whoever the Celtics get with our pick AND
3. Fultz must be better than the accumulation of Tatum AND whoever the Celtics get with our pick AND
4. Fultz must be at a minimum as good as Kyrie or Lillard
If the Celtics get Porter or Ayton or Bamba or Doncic or Bagley with our pick it must mean Fultz has to be better than for example Bagley and Tatum and that most basketball people who discuss basketball and GMs would not trade Fultz for Bagley and Tatum.

Steps 1-4 all require at least 2-3 years of judgement. So it's a waiting game I guess. And how would Bamba, Ayton or Bagley exactly fit on the Sixers?

It's not about fit for us. It's about giving Boston elite talent that fits them. If the Lakers pick 4th we lose the pick. We could have drafted someone very good but instead it goes to Boston and they can get Doncic or Bamba or Ahton. We are making Boston real good. That's why it's imperative Fultz is the clear cut best player in this draft and becomes a perennial all star.

What do you mean it's not about fit dude? It most certainly was. Tatum, Jackson and DSJ were not fits. Fultz was, and he has a superstar ceiling. And you don't think Fultz can become that? That's all good. I'm very high on Fultz, and pretty much every analyst was as well. Not that it means anything. I don't think Fultz cares about what anyone thinks, unlike Ben Simmons who might have a little Lesean McCoy in him (wants to be told he's the best 3 times per day). It's going to a ton of fun to watch it all play out though.
THE bigger story with Boston is whether or not they max IT. If they do, and I think Danny will, we have zero concerns what Boston does. But I'm not as high on Jayson Tatum as you probably are. And Hayward is not a needle mover.

1. A lot of people underrate Hayward. He's very good. He's going to do good things in Boston. I think his time in Utah made him invisible to people. I expect him to do big things.
2. Of course Fultz can become a star. I hope he does become a top ten player. I just don't see it. And Fultz does care what people think. That's why he uses it as motivation which I do like.
3. Simmons is just wired differently. He has some diva in him but most stars do. He has an ego. All stars have egos. And if Simmons does need someone to tell him he's the best 3 times per day then tell him to text me. I'll tell him that'd it makes him play like a superstar lol.

We'll see about Hayward. No doubt he's a good player. But I very much like how our roster is building and coming together than the Celtics right now (despite wins and losses). Celtics trading down for Tatum (IMO) was more about stock piling assets to use in a trade for a star. That has yet to happen, and Ainge looks like he is striking out via trades. We'll see. Cannot wait for that home opener vs Boston. It'll be my birthday too. Gonna be a great night.
