And considering Pelicans record, it’s not impossible.

True but still highly unlikely especially since the Pels aren't going to be competing this year with Zion's weight issues so they'll likely want young pieces and picks back. I think any deal involving Simmons and Ingram is going to require a third team (Minnesota or Sacramento perhaps?) to take Simmons.

The Pelllies are looking more and more like the third team between the Sixers and the package of young and future assets for Simmons teams.

Agreed. I feel like Fox is more gettable than Edwards but that it will be one of those two going to New Orleans. I think Griffin’s last argument is that Zion needs a stud guard on the same timeline.

I just happened to check, and turns out De’Aaron Fox was born in... New Orleans, Louisiana.

Edwards is likely to be untouchable. If KAT decides to bolt, and he is getting there, they need Edwards to be the franchise guy they build around. No way he is getting traded, they are far more likely to move DLo if they need to make salaries work in a trade. Spurs could be another outgoing package team with interest in Simmons that could get involved with a New Orleans trade as well.

Kings trade De’Aaron Fox and a 2022 1st.
Kings get Ben Simmons.

Sixers trade Ben Simmons, Matisse Thybulle, and a 2023 1st.
Sixers get Brandon Ingram.

Pelicans trade Brandon Ingram.
Pelicans get De’Aaron Fox, Matisse Thybulle, SAC ‘22, PHI ‘23

Feels a bit steep on our end but I think Ingram makes even more of a leap on a winning team playing with our guys.

I’d rather cut out the Pelicans and keep Fox. I think your greatly overvaluing Ingram no shot he gets them all that!

I'd do this minus Tisse.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

At this point, there’s no way he (edited for clarity - Ben Simmons) can say his mental health is back to normal the day he is traded. This means the team trading for him is doing so knowing he is going to be missing games for an undetermined period of time.

I think if someone asked him if he’d rather be traded to Philadelphia or ride it out it in New Orleans, he’d be on the first flight to Philly.

idk nothing says I'm lying more than "well just say I'm lying then...i dare you"

this attempt at sympathy is hard to sell after all of the offseason stuff and the back injury attempt prior.

But to each their own. This is just our now biweekly attempt at each side attempting to control the narrative.

don't care anymore.

Nobody feels sorry for Simmons anymore. Only people who just flat out dislike the sixers are defending this guy. There was plenty of blame to go around after game 7, but everyone has seemed to move on besides Simmons

I'd do Simmons and Thybulle for Anunoby and VanVleet, though.

It might look like a bad deal for Toronto, but you'd be banking on Nick Nurse working his shooting development magic with Ben Simmons and potentially unlocking a superstar.

OG is exactly what Philly needs for sure, and with FVV you’d win the title probably.

FVV
Curry
OG
Harris
Embiid

Yeah, it’s over with that line up. OG has the length and agility to at least make it hard for guys like Durant and Giannis. FVV is a big time play maker and shot maker, as is OG. Both are elite 3 pt shooters and defenders.

Only concern from Raps fans perspective is Barnes and Siakam are both ideal at the 4, so one of em has to go and we’re obviously not trading Barnes. So I’d imagine over the next couple seasons Siakam will be shipped.

I think most Sixers fans are done with a bad fitting roster. We love watching the current team play mostly because it just runs like a normal freaking team should.

Siakam doesn't fit at all with current roster so hard pass.

Not that Ben has an ounce of self-awareness, but hope he realizes people fighting for mental health legitimacy will despise him when he suddenly recovers from his emotional-cripple status the moment he gets traded.

Oh yeah we have our little primadonna Bum Simmons trying to blame the Sixers for his mental issues. Actually he is not even doing it himself, he is too good for that I guess, he will just use his agent instead of speaking himself.

Man, this guy has no shame at all.

After all this fake drama, hes getting to softer player in NBA history territory. Its getting really disgusting.

Just man up and play the fricking game, the sooner you play the faster you get traded.

I'd just like to know when his "mental health" issues originated. Was it while he was partying in UK hooking up with another fake body woman? Was it while he was buying a new home in CA and then live streaming during the NBA draft? Or did it occur as he was flipping thru his Rolodex of excuses for why he wont play for the Sixers, but was going to be able to play for any other team if he was traded.
